I love that you give honest reviews and definitely props to injora. I've purchased lots of their products and it makes me happy knowing they're open to constructive criticism
Have you seen theirs rubber/tpr or whatever, elastic waterproof inserts just like those 3d printed ones? Stiff sideways, but allowing for squish? I reckon they will rob you again
I'm loving these. These are as quiet as brushless. What I like most is the modulation without having FOC. No subtle lurch and It feels natural to me to increase throttle to increase power.
I purchased this Injora T6 transmitter with the Hobbywing 1080 G2. What an amazing addition of control. I have it in the VRD Stance and it is superb. Low speed control is incredible and braking is phenomenal. Do not use inertial steering so that is turned off. I am new to crawlers and this combo will keep me happy.
Wow, great review as usual, and at that price point, it's a no brainer upgrade. I've watched your channel really grow, and you are a leading voice in the 24th market for sure. The biggest reason for that is you are completely honest in your assessment of products.
Throttle brake and then reverse can be changed. I just learned it a week ago on my trx4m you hold the button till it blinks three times and it puts it in crawl mode.( only forward and reverse)
Good to see a budget minded brushed ESC replacement! Transmitter is a Dumbo RC with another sticker-great radio. Leaving us on that cliffhanger "there are great things coming", come on!
I've been waiting for a cheap mini brushed esc. Hopefully it's in the ISDT70 price range. That esc on a radio with expo adjustment should help the low end jumpy feel
Looking forward to this one. I cant stand driving the trx4m with the stock esc simply because that noise., its like nails on a chalkboard for me. Gotta give Injora some props for this move, very smart to get feedback from the right sources, and a big thanks to you Matt for keeping it honest!

Exciting... but not much good info here I'm afraid :( Are those Traxxas lights that it's powering, or some other light system? I see they stay lit and don't have brake light/reverse light functionality. The key reason I'm glued to the little blue box is because I like the light system. When you toggled the light bar on with a radio channel, is it because your light has a built in light controller? Injora motors are rated for 2s, will their motors work OK on 3s? I only ever use Fwd/Rev mode, but does it support other drive modes? Finally, it would be helpful to have a head-to-head comparison of whine at low RPM.
It’s crazy cause I always use the rc8x or noble for my 1/10s & mostly gt5 for the smaller trucks but I play around with a lot of transmitters for the smaller stuff. I’m not as picky on them usually lol
@@2fmrc Have questions. I have the FMS Smasher V2. I want to put a Furitek STELLAR TRANSMISSION WITH MINI GODZILLA BRUSHLESS SETUP. Who makes a metal skid plate that I can mount the Furitek Stellar transmission to? Don't want brass. Thank you
It just has a dual rate knob. No end point setting unless there’s some sort of hidden menu by holding your mouth the right way and tapping a button or something like that lol. Which I’m not a fan of. That’s one reason the gt5 is so great at its price. Gives you actual end point adjustments that are easy to set.
I agree with the antennas I fly rc planes and some receives are now antenaless why would something 5 feet away need an antenna, you could probably get by by cutting it short like 5 mm
I have a question. If I honestly have no plans to ever go any bigger than 1/18, or buy another car/truck for that matter, is it worth it to go brushless? Or how about a sensored brushed? My understanding is they're better than plain brushed, but I'm also new to this. I'm doing my own indoor course, buddy has one too, and let's be real, it's easier to build an outdoor course for 1/18
