It's really easy to cure herpes 1 & 2 But it's hard to keep from getting it back. We've cured hundreds of people of both but, they go out and meet someone new, or they continue to sleep with their partner that has it as well as them and didn't take the cure. You'd be surprised. I dated this guy for two months last year. I was diagnosed with HSV1 in June of 2018. I called him, informed him of my situation, and asked if he's ever had oral herpes, his reply was " Oh yeah, that was me, I'm sorry". Call me naive, but I never thought something as simple as a KISS could forever impact my life. He also went on to say "I've had it since I was a little kid, I haven't had an outbreak in over a year". "My Mom and my Aunt has it and its not a big deal to them". Its hurtful to know someone knew they had something and never disclosed it. I immediately called the Police and was informed there's no law regarding my issue, the most it would be is a Class C Misdemeanor in Texas. Keep in mind no one has cared to ask to listen to my call recordings with him admitting it and apologizing numerous times. I guess he'll keep infecting innocent people without consequences. I also went to a Law Office and was informed it's not quite beneficial to sue, as he only makes $36k a year and Attorney fees will have to be paid on my part.

I think the truth is that if the herpes on your mouth is the kind that can spread to genitals, maybe it was type 2 in the first place. However, most HSV1 (cold sores) do not always spread to the genital area, but some strands do spread to the other area because, one, it's type 2 in the first place or it's type 1, but it's a kind of virus strand that does spread to the genital area. So not all cold sores spread to the other area--most do not. One logical way to test this: do you have cold sores? If yes, do you also get breakouts in your genital area? Most people have HSV1 (greater than 90%), but most only get breakouts on the mouth area and none in any other parts of the body. This means that this kind of virus strand is HSV1 that only appears around the mouth area.
With that said, THERE'S HOPE: I've had sporadic cold sores whenever I am in a stressed state (probably passed on from sharing utensils by family members when I was a child). It would sporadically break out in a small clump around the side of my mouth. I would get the breakout at least once every 2-3 months to sometimes every 3 weeks (when I was working in a stressful sales job where I wasn't getting sales). I don't remember ever going over 6 months w/o a small breakout. A year and half ago, I purchased Argentyn 23 silver hydrosol (colloidal silver) and also Quantum Health SuperLysine+ both from Amazon. I don't know which one was effective on the HSV1, but I do not have cold sores anymore (now over a year). I do know that the last time I was getting breakout, I took the SuperLysine tablets and I had a very different breakout process. Rather than the usual small clump, the outter layer of the skin area of the break out started to peel (similar to sunburn peel). This was the last breakout I had. Not sure if I am completely cured from this or if it's just dormant, but I just know that I've never gone this long without a breakout. I've had stressful times during the past year, but nothing. It's clear to me that Lysine and/or silver hydrosol can be effective against HSV1 to either cure it or make it dormant indefinitely.

Interesting! I'm 29 also and used to say things like that. I'm a virgin also and contracted HSV1 from kissing someone. He never disclosed it and there were no obvious cold sores that stood out as a warning.

I didn't notice my first outbreak until after I had my first child. Occasionally I'll get an outbreak under high stress but usually I only get outbreaks about a day after I have an orgasm. My outbreak area is on my lower back so I'm so thankful it's not on a more sensitive area. I use Abreva to shortness the outbreak and tea tree oil for pain releif.

Mike383HK Also some foods make one more vulnerable. I only have mouth HSV1 since 7 yrs old. Avoid nuts, chocalate, popcorn, and some others that have high arginine level Google Herpes diet suggestions. Lysine and diet helped me get less outbreaks.
Also I get sick, fever, stressed, or too much sun, or get very chilled it can cause outbreaks for me.
Yeah, stress causes outbreaks!! The diet is new to me but I know walnuts caused one on me!
Mike383HK L-lysine is great. Arginine is one of the proteins that causes the virus to grow. The foods to avoid are high in arginine.

L-Lysine caplets have been fantastic for me, in eliminating cold sore break outs. Not sure about the other type of herpes though...(if it helps with that?!)

I still have outbreaks. I take a lot of pills and try everything including God. The itch is just as bad.
I have to ask CURED or just SUPPRESSED ? it is not cured if you can still spread it ? I mean no disrespect to anyone but I would really like to know the answer ??
Do you know anyone who did this treatment and is it cured?
