  • How to Use Wing Chun for Grappling / Tan Sao Tips and Tricks
    ‪@JingShenKuoshu‬
In this video, Grand Master Greg Fraser shows how to use Wing Chun in grappling. He focuses on the Tan Sao technique from the Wing Chun system. The Tan Sao is a powerful move. It can be very effective against grabs and holds from other martial arts like Chin Na and Jiu Jitsu. But it's not easy to master.
Why is this so scary? Because if you don't get it right, you could be in real danger. Imagine being caught in a tight hold by an experienced opponent. Without proper skills, escaping can seem impossible. The stakes are high, and every mistake matters. Learning the Tan Sao could be your only way out.
Grand Master Greg Fraser's expertise can help, but his lessons aren't for the faint of heart. Each movement must be precise and deliberate. Missteps can lead to pain or injury, both for you and your sparring partner. Watching this video is just the beginning; real practice is needed to make these techniques second nature. Only then can you face opponents with confidence, knowing you're prepared for anything they throw at you.

When I was young I studied Wing Chun Do, Jeet Kune Do and Wing Chun all who presented different perspectives but kept similar roots.
This is the JSK perspective. In this approach we focus heavily on the Tan Sao, Fook Sao, and Bon Sao. Our Chi Sao also has a different focus in that we are more oriented in using the sticking hands in combination with Chin Na.
      Thanks for commenting.
