Your French Country Witch is so cute. Looking forward to seeing it fully finished. I am enjoying seeing your other projects. Keep up the good work. Take Care
Good luck with your upcoming surgery. I hope your recovery period is short and that you'll be feeling better soon. I haven't seen anyone else mention it yet, but Amazon has quite a number of Thea Gouverneur kits for sale, including The Lady and the Unicorn. I also wanted to thank you for your show notes. I know it takes time to pull together, but the information is very helpful. Take care.
Thanks - Yes, I'm looking forward to the extra stitching time! I don't speak French, but that's a funny translation! That'd be great on the wall too!!! 😆 It's "Lache Pas La Patate" though. The designer says the chart is "inspired by an old Zydeco song" and the translation is "don't drop the potato" in context meaning, don't give up! 🤷♀️
Great video, I love your projects. My daughter had the same surgery a few months go and felt way better after. Good luck with yours and prayers for some good stitchy time as you recover. 🪡🧵☮️❄️
I really enjoyed your videos. Gallbladder attack pain is the worst pain next to a toothache. I pray your surgery went well and that you are able to get some stitching in while recovering!
So glad you stopped by, thanks for watching! You're right, tooth aches are nothing to sneeze at! Unfortunately, my surgery was postponed, the surgeon was sick - Back on the schedule now.
I started a Long Dog 2 years ago... wasn't happy with the variegation of the thread, I was about 5,000 stitches in, I gave it up... they are huge... if I'm going to stitch on something I want to love it... because in the end you will have put a lot of time into something that was not a joy!!!
That's a lot of work to let go, but you make a great point! I do love the pattern, I don't think it would bother me as much if I had used 2 strands instead of 1... Then again, 2 strands might be too bulky. Decisions, decisions. 😂
So nice to hear about you and see your projects. I'm stitching the much simpler Lady and the Unicorn charts by Princesse, but I wish I'd been braver and chosen the Thea Gouverneur version that you are doing!
I enjoy watching The Twisted Stitcher and Helen D’s tutorials. They are my inspiration.
It was fun to see your projects and plans. I like the potato quote and pattern. Made me smile.
Love your projects… some of my favourites were ones I’d never seen before, so that’s always exciting. Looking forward to seeing them all progress.
Welcome to flosstube! I hope your surgery goes smoothly and you have a quick recovery!
It will go well.&She will.#☝️💪🙏💖.👍😎

Gah!!!! You have tempted me with so many cute patterns!!!! Love your videos. Definitely getting more comfortable.
Thank you! 🤗 I'm so happy you stopped by!

Oh! That's great! I'll be sure and pass that information along in my next video!
Good luck with your upcoming surgery. More stitchy time. Your last project "Liche pas la patate" translates to "Don't lick the potato ".

I love your choice of patterns
Thank you! 😊

Next project, perhaps? There's a lot of floss/stitches, but so far it's going pretty smoothly! You can do it! 😬
Enjoy your videos so much. Gall bladder surgery is a breeze. Prayers sent for a speedy recovery.
🤗 Thank you!
Beautiful projects! Keep up the great job M
Very nice wips. I have other crafts I like to do, but this past year, has only been cross stitching. Don’t you wish we could do it all? Lol 😂
Thanks! Indeed I do - But, without multiple independently functioning arms, cross stitch for the win here lately too! 😂
