Enlisted is suited to those who like more fast-paced gameplay, and is much better than HLL in this regard. The devs are constantly listening to players and making changes and HUGE updates that they want to see, and it's looking great so far. It can only get better from here!

@@dtla5052 Yeah the games are long but that doesnt mean its slow paced. Since you command 5 solders even if you die you can get right back into the action instead of waiting 30 seconds on a respawn screen. Also with all the Ai its easier to get kills and you usually get about 50 kills a game
I've moved to HLL from this game. Africa was my most played campaign though! I just got tired of how small and crowded the maps are. Learn to survive in a tank, or to hide a cannon well, or to bomb or call barrages accurately and you'll just rack kills like a god of death. One of my most successful battles was in the howitzer stuart in normandy, the city map, forgot the name. Just sat in the back and kept lobbing the very explosive shells over stuff taking advantage of the thing's height and good visibility
Fr, used to use a radio squad w 2radiomen, a sniper, tank hunter and an engineer...
Find a spot, build ammo supply and start hunting w the sniper and call artillery every minute and keep the tank hunter in case of a a tank attack

Enlisted has been my go to game since they launched on playstation. I love the verity of weapons and vehicles you bring in to battle.

This free game have everything, you can build, dig trenches, there is destruction, vehicles, you can give orders to your squad kind like brothers in arms, there is a lot to unlock. EVERY BUILDING YOU SEE ARE EXPLORABLE AND YOU CAN REACH ROOF IN EVERY BUILDING EVEN THE MOST HIGH BUILDING IN STALINGRAD! YOU CAN CLIMB EVERYWHERE
i know the climbing is one of the funnest parts

I used to pay Enlisted back in 2021, i might start it up again after watching this tbh.
I know that this is just my view, but the ai are one of the better things, they make the game much better in my opinion as they make the battles seem far larger instead of just 12 soldiers per battle, you have over 50.
Sometimes AI is scary and feel like you are around with other players but other times they are so dumb 😂

I liked the AI as well, at least when you die, you can instantly swap to next soldier instead of spawning from the start
For me the AI squad system really makes the game stand out. It makes the game much more laid-back and action focused - a real meatgrinder. Sure the AI is dumb and annoying at times, but they make the game special. And the reason why the devs removed the lone fighter from standard matches was that nobody played it. Sorry to break it to you
This is my casual companion to the more milsim games I play. Gets my ww2 fix but its not as stressful, just quick fun. I enjoy the AI and it didn't seem like many people played lone fighter. I usually tell my guys to hold a position so I can move up and if I die I can safely switch to one. I also like that you can switch characters with the press of a button, that has helped me switch to a character in a more advantageous position.
btw if you snipe at the back of the map, both teams will hate you

I ended getting curious and learning a lot more about Eastern Front history because of this game :). I Kind of moved on because I am one of the people who will miss the campaign system, but it is well worth a try if you like WW2 history and FPS !
Thing is is enlisted also has custom servers and all of that allowing other players to make their own game modes or make what they want for their server, whether it's Solo or squad game modes. you also can sqaud up with your friends which bringing them into the battles you can also play solo game modes back when I played when it first came out on Xbox the solo game mode was fun to play having friends and a tank but you can also just load into a custom game so but he made and play that it also just played multiple multiple the campaign's I'm not saying you have to play with friends but if you play with friends
i am a free enlisted player and i have a 63% win rate. no it is not paid to win. if you struggle to win matches you probably dont know how to play the game properly. bots are not there to get kills they are just extra quick respawns.
Enlisted used to have a game mode call the solo dog or whatever something like that and you loaded in Solo the only problem is enlisted push towards being a squad type of game it's based around you being a leader of your team or being multiple soldiers the time now isn't listed better than the other games that are out there know but I kind of enjoy the game it's pretty good especially on console it's pretty nice and it's just so satisfying to get a kill and it's fun then whether you're getting kills on a ai's or getting kills on real people it doesn't matter it's a fun experience in the end

When you first played enlisted a while back when it came out, it was so good and fun, but now something feels so off about the game it feels so weird playing in a match.
Match making is trash and everything is nerfed to hell. Thats why, it was better a year ago when you could one shot enemies and explosives were dangerous.
I played this on my xbox before i got my pc. Then I got it on my pc because it is free. Then i seen HLL, bought it and played it for a little bit but just didnt have as much fun as with Enlisted. Being free and fun all around is why I enjoyed it so much on xbox and why I got it on PC. Also It was something I could get and play with my friends who dont have PCs. HLL just felt like a WW2 Rising Storm Vietnam. If u like that then you do what you enjoy, Ill stick it my goofy arcade shooter.
Flying skill and shooting skill are in two different worlds. In Enlisted you can 1 shot anybody with the default gun, but in war thunder the default plane is no match for a mid or high level plane some planes are to quick or have just better weapons. And it comes down to flying skill.
It's an instant Classic. The game is War Thunder, Infantry version. They'll keep fleshing this game out to be something amazing over the years.
I wouldn't say getting rid of the ai is the best option but instead having a huge update to them. A sort of ai overhall.

Animations need a LOT of work, so do vehicle physics/interaction physics. The core game is amazing though and has a TON of potential. Once the map sizes get increased and the aforementioned gets addressed, this game will gain a lot of popularity. Content is easy and they have a LOT of stuff to add to keep it going.
i enjoy both of the game ,tho what i hated of it probably the ai the most, the shooting i guess it a bit outdated and most of the animation like climbing into window and etc is cluncky af meanwhile for HLL it so realistic most of the time but still 90% u be lookin at dirt then got snipe from nowhere and had to spawn back to where u came from. but keep it mine enlisted focus on arcade while HLL is more to realism. tho i wish the could make thing in enlisted like battlefield where everything can be destroy
I think the idea of enlisted is good, its just so early in the development its still a little clunky. But it is free so I feel like that makes up for it.
I've never played a match that wasn't filled with bots.
Chads be hit by dopamine when tryin to find the body of the enemy to confirm their kill.
I like the Ai though its honestly the only thing making just another generic shooter wouldn't have tried it otherwise, but I don't know might just be me ... I'm an rts fan so it makes me happy to have a hybrid game that good for once
I think it’s easier to argue that War Thunder isn’t pay to win because even if you buy a top tier premium, that doesn’t mean you actually know how to use it. _Especially_ if it is an aircraft. In fact, the opposite has often been shown to be true because during sales you get spikes of low skill players buying high tier premiums and getting chewed up by players who actually know what they are doing. You’ll get whole teams of the latest premium that die after doing nothing and have nothing else in the lineup and lose the match. The problem you outlined with your friend isn’t _really_ a problem because there was nothing stopping you from playing with a vehicle at his tier level, rather than trying to drag him up with your shiny premium.
Overall good game. It's not pay to win but its Pay to not grind for the rest of your life.

I do disagree with your view that graphics are as good as games like HLL/PS though.
The biggest area needing improvement IMO is graphics/special effects if they want to seriously improve realism. And Enlisted has a long way to go before it can best games like HLL in the graphics/special effects area. Sound effects are not too bad, but graphics.... no way, not today!
The second point I disagree with is your view on the Ai squads. I realize that a lot of people have made negative comments about the Ai, but I also think those that have could benefit by looking at it from a different perspective. Firstly, Ai squads are something that will likely see regular improvements over time, so there is that. Secondly, if your Ai squad is getting in the way, or giving away your position, then you might not be using the feature to its full benefit. Each player has to decide on how to best defend/attack a point, and positioning your Ai squad can be a big part in that. It does take a little work to do, but if/when you take the time to do it, there is usually more often then not a benefit. Next, Ai squads give the player multiple spawn points, and they also give the player a lot of latitude on how the squad he/she takes into battle is equipped, which really adds to the game play IMO. And most importantly, Ai squads help to maintain a high density of action, even if player counts drops off. Low player counts for any reason leads to a low in-game action density, which leads to lower player counts.... This cycle is what often signals a games death march. Just ask any PS players.
I think the player/Ai squad model Gaijin is using is a much more robust and sustainable model then a purely player based one. Currently HLL is struggling, and it won't take too many more wrong moves to place it into the same jeopardy and fate PS found itself faced with. If Gaijin continues to make gains in graphics/special effects to improve realism, I think it is very likely it could steal the crown from HLL and maybe even cause its downfall.

The biggest problem I have with Hell Let Loose is how hit registration is non existent especially non satisfactory after you work so hard to get a kill

Get rid of a.i and enlisted would be decent. Tried playing on servers without a.i never had much luck and when I did the maps felt empty. So, they need to up the player count for those non-a.i servers.

any games that have crossplay enabled between pc and consoles should allow you to use mouse and keyboard on the console. You can use it in call of duty i don't see why they can't have that in enlisted, Gaijin makes this right? they also made war thunder, which has mouse and kb support for consoles.. i don't know wtf they were thinking..
I really like the immersive approach of the game, it's a good game
I’ve never played Stalingrad but have grinded Normandy / Tunisia and Berlin. Even with base squads I’ve destroyed high level players, I may hear the «pay to win » argument. But to me it’s more « work on your game sense and use basic tactics » works just fine
I have to comment that the hating on AI while not unwarranted as they are poor however when playing a tanker or anything that can call serious firepower to bear those multi kill per one shot/call are so satisfying. Squad wiping with one HE shell will never get boring
If you play this game, you need to realize sniping and sniper squads in thier current form is useless. In squads mode you need to be playing the objective with mass wave tactics.
The ai system is broken af and the shooting feels like we’re in 2010, move from this to hll and i’l never come back to enlisted
They updated ai its much better now finally. Shooting in this game had always been amazing tho. I will say there are upgrades for shot dispersion which idk how I feel about but I always get the dispersion upgrades

@@tang414 nah have you played recently? They updated it. You have to be good still but its not 360 no scoping you nor is it oblivious. Its nice, its also better than most players now cause the AI will build
I have played HLL multiple times and every time it was way less fun than Enlisted. It's too boring with nothing but running/driving and camping. If you want to play as a sniper you better have some macro to pick up the squad instantly as the match begins. People can't drive at all in vehicles so you will die a lot as a gunner/commander. Plus getting murdered by lmg are not fun due how much running you have to spend to get to the next objective. Optimization is just garbage and new dev team have no clue what to do with the game.
@@Dregomz02 yeah was also for me at the begining but when u are in a squad where the commander is good you spawn close to the fights etc, but i agree that hll is more realistic so less fun for sum people, also a matter ot tastes

Hack mortars were just added recently with also the new updates upgrading the menu for Xbox and making a lot more weapon adjustments in adding multiple tanks to the game and planes I mean it's not like battlefield or he'll let it loose with the vehicle very but it's trying to put itself out there the fact that it has almost 100,000 people playing it daily when its counterpart Called war thunder has triple that is surprising I hate war thunder war Thunder's completely pay-to-win now is enlisted not that much you can still kill a guy that is paid for every single weapon in every single second of the campaign but one thing gaijin does is make it to where you have to earn even if you buy it. it's the way you play a game
The game was great but every match I feel like I was playing with Bot/AI. Sometime you feel lonely in the game with large scale map. Please do not compare HLL to Enlisted because in HLL you feel the flesh but not with Enlisted.
And I personally along with a lot of others love the AI system

i hope they just copy war thunder by simply copy its research progresion instead of tank its a regiment/division that really exist in real life from 1936 that majority using bolt action to 1944 and divide them with combat role just like warthunder TD, Heavy, med tank, SPaa but in enlisted is support mg, sapper, sniper, Rifle, Assault cqb.
a) graphics are definitley not better than in Post Scriptum; the player model handling/look here (and in HLL) in is a total bummer and kills the immersion for me - in contrast to Post Scriptum which nailed it
b) gunplay in Post Scriptum is very much unmatched until this very day; the Squad infantery overhaul might change that for Squad. HLL and Enlisted did not even try to come close

Enlisted is my favorite game I played
HLL is stuck in WW2, while enlisted can branch out to any conflict of the modern era. The game is also great for people who don’t have the time to sit in matches that last 1hr+. Besides I wouldn’t be talking to much crap about enlisted, since your HLL game is on thin ice as it is anyway.

HLL is the most overrated I have played, even as a milsim its so flat.
I don’t like enlisted just for the controls and the bots it does look good though and I like the tank gameplay also the shooting leaves more to be desired it’s just not at meaty and the reload animations are just not good😅it’s a good game though it needs some improvement 7.5/10 in my opinion ❤
For me the Game was good atmosfer chaos in war.. ( but ppl never play objectives!! ) they just doing random things like camper - fly plane for vacation etc you name it . the AI way more better than real player because AI always move on objectives!

Enlisted is a well made mix between simulation and arcade. Abit like Red Orchestra was back in the days. AI Squad base has much much more benefits than drawbacks. One is, you get constant action. Something other games can’t offer, specially the more realistic ones.
I just cant stand those stupid AI bots who die all the time if you dont rush but try to play smart.
they keep going on and on about the forthcoming big change to the game, but they are all just talk. all they care about is money and buying their packs

Brother, I know your favourite WW2 FPS is dying and so is mine but don't come around in here saying Enlisted should drop 50% of what makes it unique ( the AI squad mechanic ) just so that you can feel more at home because your other WW2 video game isn't doing that great and you don't have anywhere else to go ok ?

I find your take on the "AI-Squads" weak, since you are trying to generalize the playerbases opinion - simply based on your own.
My old uncle play this game on Xbox and is having a blast, just because he isnt forced to "Run back from spawn" with each death - which keeps the action alive.
Even if you just leave your squad to hold a position somewhere, you will most likely be faster back in action - just because of those mentioned squad members.
It makes the game feel better for lots of console players, or simple casuals too - cause they can still get kills, even playing against more experienced players, which ends up feeling less frustrating.
Funnily enough that is literally whats happening in your video... Most of the kills you got were AI-Squad-Mates of other players.
Would you still have as much fun being mowed down by players with way more playtime than you on repeat? I doubt it.
Same with the pay-to-win aspect, which you just havent researched proper - yet you wanna give your 2 cents to it.
The game is pay-to-progress and pay-for-QoL, but not pay to win.
Overall; I took the time to listen to all the points you are making - and I feel like that time was absolutely wasted.
Enlisted .. not suit for OS players , High ping
The game is still very bad. At the beginning of Enlisted you could play well with one or two squads in the game. Today there are no fewer than 4 - 5 squads. The reason for this is not better opponents, but the fact that there is no random factor in the game. The opponent sees, knows and does everything to keep you out of the game.
The right enemy squad or tank always comes around the corner and destroys a build-up game. You are also fought at the entry point, which is disputed by Gaijin, but in reality it is everyday life. The game is not recommended! 😵💫
They should just release it on steam

Speaking as a veteran player, Enlisted is not a good game by any means its shit and i hate the grind. the upcoming progression update wouldn't make a much difference imo. but enlisted is basically a cheaper alternative to HLL because its free. its for for everyone who can't afford HLL and don't have a fancy pcs to run HLL

Nah, they’re completely different games. I own both and easily play Enlisted more. HLL can often be too slow/require communication/more emphasis on realism which means more limited weapons. Apples and oranges, have to be in the right mood for HLL and Enlisted is more mindless fun

I've played this game before, this game has 0 chances of overtaking HLL. this game is a bit pay to win also.
They’re not comparable. I play both and find myself playing enlisted way more, since I don’t always feel like sitting in hour+ long matches mostly consisting of running and having to use mic. Enlisted is also not p2w, you start out with bolts but you can take down any premium item with free tech tree stuff. Most of the premium weapons are even inferior to the free stuff.
This game is terrible. One of the most trash games ive played, and its not succeeding, player base fell off a cliff
