Travel videos would be amazing 🥲 it is possible to travel and be as safe as possible 😷 I’m so excited for an upcoming event for my husband’s union, bcuz it means another road trip 🤗🥰 my husband took me on my first road trip in 2018 from Washington state to Las Vegas and back north through California 🤗 I hadn’t really been out of my home state of Washington and it was absolutely amazing 🤩 this next time though, I’m insisting that 1 or 2 of our sons come with us, I’ve got ways to entertain my gamers 🎮 throughout this trip 🤣🙌🏽🤗✨💖💃🏻💜✨
I started out watching Brad Mondo, UNTIL I found Hair Budda. I think you really have people's best interests in mind and are the most educated there is. I have learned so much from you, and without the snarkiness you get with other hair fail videos. Thank you.❤️
If you enjoy making and posting travel videos I say go for it. They will not hurt your channel and you will get to do something you love. They might not get as many views as your hair fails and tips but it will be a nice video for the subscribers that are interested in your travels.
Tumeric is just a spice, it's not henna. The thing about henna is that you have to make sure it's pure henna and not compound (that means that there are other metals added to it). If you use compound henna and go back to regular dye, your hair will melt off. Henna is very heavy - you're right it's putting mud in your hair. Also, when you henna your hair it's really bright and vivid at first. The color matures after about 2-3 days. A really good website I highly recommend is Mehandi.com. They have really good instructions and tips. And they sell henna as well that is laboratory tested. Good stuff. I used to henna my hair all the time. Hope this helps people.
because there's different types of turmeric. the one that leaves a stain is for cooking. turmeric used for skin is called kasturi turmeric which i think is harder to find outside India.
I used banana as a hair mask (It supposed to give your hair a boost and make it shine)... after 7 showers and combing it through everytime, I still had banana pieces in my hair... result: dry hair and a banana stench for a week..
I swear by turmeric. It faded old dark spots. I don't notice the yellow tint because I'm brown skin. I like to mix turmeric with my Indian healing clay face mask.
@@Anime_no_joō Exactly. If you don't have brown skin...leave the turmeric alone. 😂 I actually had to leave the powdered form alone because it stained everything in my bathroom. Had to ditch the clay for similar reasons... it was a nightmare to clean. Now I just use turmeric oil.
Yes henna is really messy so when I color my hair, my kitchen looks like a crime scene because of all the trash bags to protect my floor. But I love it, it fades so little and on the sun, OMG my hair is so shiny and vibrant! Thank you for this video, we still don't talk enough about henna
Try making a little chignon at the top rear of you head and put henna, then smear henna on one strand at the time around the chignon and roll it around the chignon. You'll be sure to put henna everywhere without too much dirt around. Is a miraculous technique!
There is usually no problem with bleaching henna hair as long as there where no metallic salts or other chemicals in it. If you're not sure just do a little test strand. Indigo (black henna) is actually a real pain in the ass to get out, but you can still lift it a little bit and color again with a lighter color.
Totally agree! I have henna dyed and bleached hair, it works really well! The only thing is that it is really hard to go to blond with henna but you can reached a very pretty gingery copper color. Moreover the ginger stay in your hair really long and it doesn't become brassy :)
The German word for turmeric is Kurkuma, so I guess the Dutch term may be rather similar 😉 It's a bright yellow spice that leaves a temporary red or orange stain. You can dye some kind of natural fabrics with it (if I remember well, the hare krishna's tunics are dyed with turmeric), but it's a process that involves soaking, boiling and the use of some stabilizing agents, meanwhile traditional henna (with which I've dyed my hair for the last 20+ years) is a plant mix that already contains some tanning agents that stabilize the color and made it last. Using just turmeric as you get it from your kitchen as a hair dye sounds like a horrible idea, an all in all it's not much different than using food colorant... 😖 On a completely different note, I've always loved to travel and see different places and landscapes, even through someone else's perspective. I've seen your vids about traveling, and I'll love to see more, pandemic permitting of course 😊
I love the way you promote other people's RUclips channels ..especially the fact they are often people who've no doubt been judged harshly be used of their hair fail videos..Its just refreshing to see your kindness in a world that's no.longer kind :)
Sure, go for the travel videos. People can always skip it, but I think a lot of us would enjoy a glimps behind the curtain (or behind the clinical background that we know 😉). Also, the funny thing with travels is Everyone perceives world differently, so it's interesting to see other people visiting the places you already know, because through those videos you might discover something that was in the plan view, but you just overlooked it 😉
If your reading this hope your all well!!! Love the hair fails. I wouldn't mind seeing more travel videos as long as it doesn't become a holiday travel channel.
I love that you actually know what you're speaking about, I saw a lot of hairdresser reaction videos with hairdressers who don't know anything about it and just laugh and give stupid impressions. You're always a guarantee!
Tumeric is not henna , it's just another plant that has colour staining properties, like beetroot for example.Pure henna comes from the leaves of the plant Lawsonia Inermis and active chemical ingredient is named lawsone .Upon adding water to henna powder ,the molecules of lawsone are released and bonded to hair keratines .Henna does not change natural hair colour ,it creates a coloured seal around hair shaft .It's like looking at hair through orange red tinted glass.
Would be wonderful to see some henna reactions on your channel. Hairdressers are so hard on henna, but you can bleach or dye over henna if it is pure henna. Henna mix with indigo and amla (Indian gooseberry powder) can achieve a more neutral less reddish brown. There are many subtle variations. But yes, it cannot lighten your hair. And it is not that messy once you've had some practice. I create barely any mess using henna.
Your profession is wonderful profession. Fantastic that you are teaching us via RUclips. I love watching your videos. Just remember family always remember, family always comes first. YES, play the videos!
It’s your channel so you should do whatever you want with it saying that I wouldn’t mind seeing some travel video’s. I think if you have a passion for travel as well as hairdressing then you should be able to show some of that on your channel. I would even appreciate a mix of the two if you happen to be visiting a friend in another country/city who works in the industry have you both doing a reaction video together. 🏖🏔🏝🏜🏕🛖.
I watched your last travel video with your nice family, I didn't comment but I thought it was lovely and well done. I really enjoy the short hair tips videos too! The hair fails are my favorite of course but I say you're great at making the videos so upload what ever you like on your channel 😃
This is your channel so you should feel free to upload whatever types of videos you want to. Not sure if I'd watch travel videos but if not, I'll just wait for your hair videos and watch those. Nobody is forced to watch videos they're not interested in so nobody should complain. Though of course someone will because that's just how some people are unfortunately. Not happy unless they're complaining about something. Just do what makes you happy. 😁
Yes I want to see travels!!!!! I'd like to see you with your daughter hahahah and yes I use turmeric in my face masks and it can tint your face for a day or two so do when home on weekend but great for your face!!!
Turmeric is a spice used for cooking and dying cloth - not a pleasant colour for hair. I used henna for many years to condition my hair - it is a good hair conditioner! I had brown hair and the henna gave it beautiful glowing auburn highlights. Once I started to turn grey I had to stop using it because on the grey henna is a very unpleasant orange. I am now well on the way to having waist length, very popular, metal grey/silver hair - not from a box - I earned it!
If anyone wants to use real henna or indigo to dye their hair I’d recommend the brand Light Mountain, they do henna and indigo sets, which are literally just powder that you mix with water. I’ve only tried their henna, but I’ve heard good things about their indigo as well. I’ve had it in my hair now for like 6 months or so the colour has faded a little, but it still has a definite red tint to it, apart from where my roots have grown in anyway 😊 I tried the Lush Henna before that and seriously it did nothing... so Light Mountain henna was much more effective and actually coloured my hair (I have dark brown hair)
Why not start a second channel for the travel videos then put a link to that channel in the description of the videos on this channel - this would allow your subscribers to make the decision as to whether they want to see such videos....just a suggestion. I dunno I really do not care one way or the other so long as its a separate video and not incorporated into a hair video.
As teenager i always used henna in my hair. I bought it at the Marokkian store (there they have the real henna) it was a green powder. Now adays there are different colours but only the original one is natural. I left it for hours, sometimes a whole night. I always mixed it with water. I had the idea it made my hair stronger. The Colour was more Orange than red. It also smells a bit. Sometimes i mixed it with coffee cause that made it a bit darker. A heardresser told me it was not so good for my hair cause it makes it dry so i stopped using it. Now that i hear you say it is good for the scalp im thinking of buying it again amd use it and them wash out after one hour I had the idea it was putting an extra later over my hair 😁
I use henna to color my hair for a few years and I don't agree with everything said in this video. You don't have to moisturize your hair while henna is processing, you just have to put your head into a plastic bag (or a plastic film) after the application to keep the moisture. You don't have to do anything while it's processing! Henna takes a long time to process, I try to keep it for 4 hours. I think 3 to 6 hours is the best. Sure henna application is a little bit messy but applying a traditional color at home is also ! Finally, it is possible to bleach henna dyed hair. Your hair will get lighter but they won't go blond (or it would be really hard and very damaging). Instead you'll have a very pretty gingery coppery color :)
If the travel videos have you showing things off or explaining things, I would love to see them personally. You are a great teacher and entertainer. I am not interested in hair or hair videos normally, but I watch your videos where you talk about them because of you, and I enjoy them. I typically do not watch the compilation videos that you are on in, but my wife enjoys them as well. Travel video's would be more to my personal taste, but I will certainly continue to watch nearly anything you come on.
I once used a clear, neutral henna on my medium-dark ash blonde virgin hair for shine and just general health. A YEAR later, I went to the salon and got my hair darkened with some highlights woven in. It turned Bozo the Clown RED! My hairdresser, an educator for Redken that had been doing my hair for years looked like she was going to stroke out. It didn't even occur to me about the henna for another week or so, lol. A month later I got in a hot tub and it turned bright orange, but it WAS really shiny, lol. It is not to be messed with unless you have the darkest hair and don't mind red tones. I don't even go down that aisle at the co op anymore. Respect (driven by fear and trauma).
Hi Mr. Meerschaert. I love their hair videos but I also really enjoy all the family snaps of your travels from your Instagram and your families Instagram. I think it would make a great addition and it will allow your viewers to get to know more sides of you and your interests and to see your wonderful family. Heck I say throw in some Dutch/Flemish, French or German and let us know a bit more about Belgium too. Thanks for all the great content 😃
As for the henna - I remember my mother using it in early 90s to bring shine and a slight tone to her brown hair, apparently it was really popular in Poland in the 80s, we had those powder packages imported from India, there was henna, chna and rubina and something else, all herbal mixtures in different tones (as You can guess rubina was deep red, I think Chna was for blond hair and gave a Golden tone). I also remember my mom fake scaring me with her colored hands and warning me, a light blonde, to stay away from the product and everything that was used 😀
hi Hair Buddha!I love your Reaction videos! You just made my day!Henna colours look interesting.Stay safe and healthy everybody!☺🍀🌻🌹✂💺I would love to see your travel videos yes pkease☺
Always love your travel videos! I get so envious of people traveling outside of the us, my wife has health issues that make travel to other countries very hard and risky.

I don't think anyone says "TikTok" better!
Right? His accent is so delicious!!
🎯
I live for him saying TikTok, I love it.
And I always say it with him lol
i though i was the only who liked how he says TikTok
unrelated to topic but damn u dress well .
I love his style, the vests and his mustache look nice together. Todays vest is a very nice navy color.
Yes I agree Hair Buddha always dresses well.
Yasss!!!
He always looks so dapper!

I really enjoyed his Bryce Canon video.. I’d love to see more of them!
Those of us that love you will definitely watch!!!💜
The hair dying attempt was a fail, but your dancing...That was a definite win!🕺💞
His dance was so cute 😂
I will watch anything you post. Thank you for being here for us in quarantine.

Yes, certainly do the travel videos !
Tumeric is a spice.
Yes. But it is a spice that stains, and I see why she would think it might do something semi permanent to her hair, but alas...
Great anti inflammatory as well.
k? that’s the title of the video lmao
@@3rdgensarah680 Have your milk warm with a pinch of turmeric if you have insomnia.
Yes, it is a root, kind of similar to ginger. I have used to clean my teeth qith coconut oil. It worked but of course do not expect a nuclear white.
Love it! Give me the Buddha family travels!
Fun story, used turmeric in a face mask and had yellow skin for a day. After a shower and much scrubbing it went away. Never again!

You have to use a little amount and gently scrub it off lol
The dancing was spot on! 🕺
I love the fact that you always shout out the people you react to!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Hair Buda dancing along to her singing is EVERYTHING for me in this video. So damn wholesome I love it!
Yes henna is really messy so when I color my hair, my kitchen looks like a crime scene because of all the trash bags to protect my floor. But I love it, it fades so little and on the sun, OMG my hair is so shiny and vibrant! Thank you for this video, we still don't talk enough about henna

also, for me it's also fading little and like I wait 2 months before I find it necessary to re"dye" my hair again, Henna is so amazing!
Do it over the bath!
I, personally, am not interested in watching travel videos. However, I will support you if you want to add that to your channel

Oh my god your dance!!! Awesome🎉😂😄👍👍👍👍 I do little dances too sometimes
HB, you are knowledgeable and entertaining! You will be at 500k very soon!
If anyone wants to use real henna or indigo to dye their hair I’d recommend the brand Light Mountain, they do henna and indigo sets, which are literally just powder that you mix with water.
It’s YOUR channel. I love watching and listening to you because you’re funny and entertaining. I won’t mind watching some of your travels.

I dunno I really do not care one way or the other so long as its a separate video and not incorporated into a hair video.
As teenager i always used henna in my hair. I bought it at the Marokkian store (there they have the real henna) it was a green powder. I use henna to color my hair for a few years and I don't agree with everything said in this video. Henna takes a long time to process, I try to keep it for 4 hours. I think 3 to 6 hours is the best.

Finally, it is possible to bleach henna dyed hair. Your hair will get lighter but they won't go blond (or it would be really hard and very damaging). Instead you'll have a very pretty gingery coppery color :)
