The author is great. Did a great job. I liked that the REAL profitability of such a farm is shown. But in fairness, it's worth noting that boosting people in dungeons will remain the best stable income in TBC. Even if you sell cheap services, you will get about 300 gold per hour. I get up to 500 per hour. And this does not require anything except the skill of killing mobs in a particular dungeon.
You should try clefthoof skinning in Nagrand. You get leather, clefthoof hides, clefthoof meat, greens grays, powderd to turn in for raw gold. And all the materials are crafted at a profit on my server so utilizing skinning leatherworking and cooking it seems to be a very decent honest farm with mild competition and you can also kill some elementals on the way mostly air and earth.

I mean, look at the steamvaults hacks they are getting away with where they can farm ores and herbs all day without having to fight anything… really sucks cause gold farming is something I enjoyed doing, but at this point it’s not worth it.
Profit aside what would your optimal fun or interesting place to farm be and what would the class & profession to go with it be if you could choose whatever you like, like I don’t know a mage with skinning and enchanting on a mountain top somewhere?
@@nektarsolne4niy804 the route i take i go north to the harpies, farm them, usually get around a stack of lotus there, but mainly yeah the ogres, pretty much near any structure there are lotus(with my luck) dont waste time going to dire maul tho

Epic BiS items are sold for way under 1000g with most of them ranging between 200 and 400g. The only thing I could do was farming Rep items like in the video or primal stuff. The upside of a dead server is, that you get to farm easily at almost any time. You just can't craft any fancy stuff to sell it. It is raw materials only.
I usually farm between 300~350 gph in legion hold. by focusing only on those warlocks. I farm between 6 to 8 fel armaments and 70~80 mark of sargerass there. and beside instead of using my arcane dusts to make imbued netherweave cloth, I simply turn the cloths to bolts which is more profit on my server (Dreadmist horde).
Idk about now, but during the first weeks of TBC a group of people on Grobbulus (high pop) had that area under 24/7 lock down. Horde or alliance, you would be lucky to get 1 tag inbetween deaths. Just like they did with the devilsaurs in classic.
The demons in Nagrand are the best option so far on my high pop server, you can just fly in circle around the big rock and tag them. they drop motes of shadow and netherweave cloth

Boosting characters ain't a bit problem because it doesn't change the gameplay or the chance of succeeding. It simply enables people with less time to participate in tbc way easier. Try to see it from thus perspective

I have 4 tailors, 3 of them are lv 60. All of them completed the tailoring quest and make 2 spellcloth per 4 days. You dont need to be 68 to do them.

You don't need to be level 68 to specialise on tailoring, I believe it's 60, did it when my mage was 61.
