- Southern Californians constantly hear about the looming possibility of the next big earthquake. Now, scientists are warning that areas around the San Andreas Fault could possibly see a strong earthquake as soon as this year.

Aside from maybe just being from that area, or having a personal attachment to it. There's really not a single good reason to stay.

It was a big one, sure, but it was not the San Andreas big one. The El Centro quake originated from the imperial fault zone and was not even a result of the San Andreas.

The Puente Hills Fault thrust the one we real have to worry about as the population is dense there and that big earthquakes will be at least 7.0 and yeah it is time to move out of California hated to see California and Catalina Island smash to together and fall into the ocean 😢. In addition to Los Angeles is built over sand basin 😅 hopefully it will not turn into a giant quicksand sinking the whole city like a sinkhole 🕳 .
