- It was time I put some new artistry skills to the test with an updated clock. And before I knew it I was knee deep (not literally) in old clay that hadn't been even looked at in probably 8 years. Whoops..
Little tip - old polymer clay still works, you just have to make it :D

Baking Polymer Clay:
UK instructions for baking- it's all in Celsius not Fahrenheit, which is why I don't always quote times & temperatures. I recommend using Polymer Clay packet instructions. However a good tip is to bake no higher than 100 degrees Celsius. It's better to bake at a lower temperature for longer, than higher for shorter.
Larger clay items need longer- always check after 10 mins- sometimes things fall over in the oven & can be rescued at this point. Watch for burning! Especially white as it's quick to burn (don't know why...) and can turn yellow!
Once out of the oven wait for it to cool before thinking it's baked- if it feels soft to touch, you can poke a finger nail in it or a finger print, back in the oven it goes!
Electric ovens work better as the temperature is even, gas oven temperatures fluctuate do not keep a steady temp for baking polymer clay.

Absolutely gorgeous ❤
Thanks Henriette 😁🥰
Absolutely fantastic!!
Thank you Allison! 😊
Great clock. I like the look of it.
Thank you Peggy! I enjoyed this one 😁
Love this! Thanks for sharing Gayle. I'd love to make a clock. Great way to use up tons of clay! How big are the roman numerals? 💖
Thank you & you're welcome! The clock face is 26cm across - I just used the biggest dinner plate I had & also what would fit in my oven! The roman numerals are varied but they are around 5-6cm. I just went with how big they looked in proportion to the clock size, I wanted them big! 😅
Luv,luv luv it as I do with all Ur work,as usual I'm amazed thank u again for showing Ur video👌💖
Thank you Brenda it's great to hear!
That clock is a work of art, you did a very good job of it. When you were doing the numbers I thought they were going to be too big but they were just right. 👍👌💕💕
Aww thanks Judi! The funny thing is, it took a few attempts to get the right size - but I wanted the numbers to be the main feature, loud & proud! 😁
This one turned out beautiful, piece of art in a clock. Fabulous. Tfs hugs from across the pond.
Thank you Karen! Yeah I enjoyed this one 😁
