Hey Sarah! Thank you so much! I use liquid polymer clay before the oven and then when it's out of the oven and cooled, I use superglue, carefully so it is not seen. If I make a mistake and use too much glue, I use glitter to cover it up! ( it usually doesn't take much glitter to make it pretty!) It does make it difficult to stick especially when there is already mica power it soft chalks on clay, so the best thing is liquid polymer clay. I use the brand FIMO or sculpey, they both work the same and they dry clear :) I hope that helps! 🥰

I was surprised it's not door to door anymore. Although thinking about it and the risks out there to children I'm not surprised really. Hi Cherylst, goodness, 18 grandchildren! I did this tutorial a while ago, but from what I can remember the clip was decoration, so long this is secured well to the pen, there won't be any issues. I still have all the pens in this tutorial and use them regulary, so they are quite durable, the only one I couldn't find was the one with the clip, so I'm going from memory here 😅 I hope that was helpful! I usually make Christmas decoration videos but this year I was thinking of starting Christmas gifts videos late November /early December, so if you have any ideas, let me know! I was wondering why you didn’t just use black clay but after you explained it it made perfect sense and actually looks like it added a nice sheen.. I think all of the embellishments you added made it look like a chunky wonderful brew I absolutely love it. I think the chalks work great on the pumpkin as well. It’s so cute. Thanks for this one. Hey Chandra, thank you so much! It is 24cm in length, I put a hole in the top and hung it up, so I guess it's not really mounted, but it has a backing of the original clay I laid down.

Yes, this is polymer clay. You do need to bake it. I think in this video I used FIMO (more well known used brand in the uk). It is best to use harder clay for accuracy, but can be time consuming! Ive not heard of paper clay. But air dry clay might work? 😁

Yeah, you bake it all together, the tin goes on the oven. I use electric oven at 100c. I think that's about 180f I bake for 45 mins to 1 hour 😁

I've found that liquid clay absorbs in to the wood, but i'm certainly going to try it! Lots of projects for the future, working on something different for this week's video 😀

Sadly, I am old enough to remember them, I'm a late 70's girl, my birthday is next month! But yes at Christmas the doilies were everywhere! I'm a mixed media artist & I love polymer clay, but you tube is a life long change of different trends and styles and one day, although I doubt it, I might change what I make. I like to keep my options open. Plus, when I ever reach the wonderful time of enough subscribers to have a plaque, ( how you you tube celebrates larger channels) it will have my actual name on it 😊 you tube is a long old game and takes time to build, I'm there for it. @nini4349 haha. Link only has to whiff a cat and he starts yapping, bouncing and breathing heavy, like he's gone mad. There is a black and white "C" we have to call it as he also know the word! That cat wouldn't even know who Link is, but they are sworn enemies already, his true nemesis 🤣

Hey Judi, I always use strong magnets, but there isn't a specific one I use. There are some really small silver looking ones, they are really good. I buy them on amazon. I'll try to find a link for you. ( it's been a while since I've bought any as I buy in bulk)
