I learned quite a bit here. When I accidently added units to a control group I never knew what to do so I added them to a high number I never used to get rid of them, so like alt+9. After seeing this Ive also realized since I never need a unit to be in 2 groups I can just rebind alt to ctrl. These small difference add up.

If I ever find myself pushing from Platinum into Diamond and I notice my macro is too slow I might do this. But since I spend most of my time in silver anyway I think I'm fine for now lol
How do you set a new camera location before you have built the base if ALT centers camera on current selection? That way camera moves away to whatever is selected and you can't set where your base is going to be
Why use ctrl+shift+(...) to jump to cameras. Seems uncomfortable. But alt+(...) seems a lot more comfortable. Since you jump cameras more than setting the locations, why not swap the hotkeys? Or did you macro one button to act as ctrl+shift?
I understand using the rapid fire hotkey for creep tumors and stuff that needs you to do a left click, but why for morph banes and ravagers? Is it better than just holding the key down?
I think he conflated the terms and he is actually holding down the normal key. It is rapid because players usually set the "repeat rate" for keys to very fast in Windows.
You mention taking a 4th and a macro hatch at the same time. What I have been doing is taking 4th and 5th in a rather greedy fashion. Do you ever do this? Is it just too hard to defend it all?

@@TheDedloc hes using a different hotkey setup called "the core" where your hand is placed in the middle of the keyboard rather than the left side like it would be with grid, hes using the right shift and right alt keys, not the left ones

I do that from time to time. Accidentally putting something in a control group. But how do I I fix it? I.e take a unit out of a control group??
