I just wanted to say how much I enjoy watching George sitting on your desk like he does. I had a cat named Stifler for 15 years and he got sick a few years ago and I lost him. I miss him terribly, but I always love to see cats that look just like he did and that is definitely George!

I've watched a few of your videos before checking out your website and realizing you did the freddie gibbs alfredo shirt... one of the cooler merch designs I've seen. I used to work at Vevo and you remind me of some of the designers who worked there with me -- I'm glad people who actually have industry experience are making these tutorials! Your professionalism really shows, and it's great to have younger people making tutorials compared to when I was learning photoshop in the 2000s. I appreciate you explaining your thought process behind everything instead of just recreating effects. It's a good channel, people!

ngl you worried me at first when you said you were going to put the tracklist on the sleeve, but then I immediately changed my mind once I saw what you did! Thank you for teaching us something new every time- not having the design take up the whole sleeve was a big brain moment for me lol
the font for plastic hearts on the hoodie rlly reminded me of the board game clue maybe thats why it has the vintage kinda feel

A question: what are the implications of photo rights when it comes to merch design (when the client doesn’t send the exact pics and you have to research yourself, as the vevo one)? Like the photographer, studio, etc.
Also would looove to watch a video about how you usually prepare the files for production (color matching, halftone, paint selection, stuff like that) just an idea!

Hey Kel! You have to “grab” the stamp image first, click the second layer and then you can stamp. (Unless you did do that, hard to tell)

I feel like a halftone texture would have been great on some of these designs
and maybe some glint/glow effects on the second design with the multiple heads
halftone takes away from the ~authentic~ vintage look and makes it more of the modern printed vintage they spoke of

Ok that first tshirt hits the "vintage" nail on the head. Looks straight from the late 70s.

And with the clone stamp you had the option above where it said "Current layer" You can choose I think all layers or Current and below.
Oh I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned it with your stamp tool thing, but you had the target set to "current layer". I believe there are options for "current + below" and "all layers" if you were wanting to grab images from lower layers

The stamp tool was set to sample current layer instead of sample all layers or current and below. I make the same mistake all the time. Amazing designs! I wish I could actually buy that sweatsuit.
