I have been running this defense for a few years, at a middle school level, slightly different. In the high trap, we deny the corner and high pass. In the low trap, we deny the high pass and pass to the block. In both cases, we take away the easiest passes. This leads to many, many turn overs.
Thanks for all of your videos!

Thanks for the comment. I’m no idol though. Far from it. I’m just a regular guy trying to put out some good into the world and make a difference.

Hey Sev, thanks for the positive feedback. I have a video on how you can break ANY zone press. It’s video #23 on my channel. ruclips.net/video/Mop_LqM3t6Y/видео.html

This is great stuff Coach! If possible, can you make a video of the 2-1-2 motion? I’m a young coach that’s leading a elementary school ball team. I’ve been coaching these guys for three years and this year we are having a great season thus far standing 6-1 which is huge for this school. That 1 lost came from a team that ran a 1-3-1 zone defense. I implemented a lot of your plays in our offense. I love your content and would love to learn more from you.

So I seemed to have lost team confidence. I have 7th grade team. We have been matched with some major expierinced teams in comparison. So our best 2 ball handlers wont run offense. Where I go from here? Bench them and risk losing worse or keep letting people do own thing.

Hey coach, that's a tough situation. It seems like whoever manages the league you play in hasn't properly matched teams according to talent. Or maybe you're just forced to play teams in your district. Either way, without knowing what your goal is for your team, I don't know that I would be able to provide any advice.
Is your goal for them to learn, or to gain experience? Is your goal for them to discover something about themselves that they didn't know was there? Is your goal to teach them how to shift their focus towards the things they can control like effort and hustle? Or is your goal to win games?
