Other artists who have writers and don’t have to worry because all they do is practice the vocals. Charlie has to face harsh judgment if people don’t like his music , while others can blame it on there writers. But, Charlie has said in other interviews that he writes music for himself and he’s finally found his sound that he likes.
Many artists write their own songs too. Charlie's songs are good but they all sound kinda the same (if you know what I mean attention, how long and done for me are all close cousins lol) but many artists that I know experiment different genres. So maybe that's why charlie is facing a lot of criticism lately

I think his music is great and it will be interesting to follow him as he gains more experience in the music industry and matures as a person. All the best to him and I'm glad he incorporating funk, as I grew up with that sound and still love it :-)
