Both are the codenames of the respective models, with the 2024 Ford Mustang GT (S650) finally on the Forza franchise, now we are able to compare it against its predecessor which is the 2018 Ford Mustang GT (S550)...is the new one faster? There's no "performance pack 2", only a single version of it. And that isn't an excuse for the loss of the new Mustang. Both of them do have the said performance package.

@@anonymousagent4336 Both GTs are stock with base factory options. PP2 is not a bodykit. The real reason the new one is slower is because of the transmission and gearing Ford used in the new ones.

No, the 2018 variant is just faster. You could give the 2024 Mustang a race transmission and keep the 2018 Mustang with the default 6 speed, same results
