POM is quite durable (it's one of the switch stem material with good sliding physical characteristics yet providing good life up to millions of strokes) and we do include a pair of spare clips in case people run experiments on it in the name of science
The epoch has been a bit of a grail for me since it came out just a bit before I really got into the hobby so I was excited when this was announced... but honestly nowadays I can't justify a 300$+ board when the performance I get out of my QK75 is already so high.
I hope that the OG Jelly Epoch gets a revamped 1.6 mm non-flex cut PCB, so that at least it could enable owners to configure them without foams, just like the newer boards from both OwLabs and QwertyKeys
Just a question, if you received the non flex cut pcb, why did you use the flex cut pcb if you think the non flex cut pcb would provide a more lively sound?
Oh my god, this is beautiful. The Jelly Epoch made me dive into this hobby in the first place. I'm so glad this doesn't have ISO hotswap or I'd be all over it, despite not wanting to build a collection 😂

Hot damn chamfered edges, that's hot! But I do agree with others' sentiments over the removal paddles being plastic - that put's such a concern over the wear and tear.

I have some concerns about the plastic being used for the removal paddles. I fear that over time those could wear down and even break.

That case assembly/disassembly system is pretty nuts.
That black+gold color scheme looks so elegant! Love how easy it is to take apart.
Release date for the group buy or is it instock? Details for this keyboard to buy?
I did not think it’d sound so nice without PE foam. I’m actually surprised
well you got your right because dont sound nice without pe foam.

Same question. The non flex cut pcb should sound much better, and he should make a sound test of it without ESD sheet
Im hoping to be able to pick up a white and blue version. Super sick
woah even Stock Oaks and Tangerine sounds that good! and that Black Gold color scheme is beautiful
So they made two hot swap PCBs and neither of them are ISO?
4 actually, 1.2 flexcuts and 1.6mm non flex cuts and then for 2 different bottom rows
Any info on internal weight and external weight?
Thumbnail font made me think I was about to watch Neon Jellysis Evolvgelion.
Does the kit include cable?
super stoked to see multiple PCB options!! Hope to see some other reviewers test out the 1.6 mm PCB
This looks awesome.
I live the deconstructed look, but I do actual work with my keyboards and it looks like a pain in the a$$ to keep clean.
this packaging is next level
thumbnail got the Evangelion font 🤣
When is GB?
Where buy?
Why am I watching this I’m never going to be actually ever able to get any of this

Get a solder board and Millmax it 😊
@@somelolplayer6199 I lack the skills for soldering 😔

@@somelolplayer6199 Nice. Respect for the skills. I'm gonna have to just take an L for soldering lol. Hope your build goes well.
dis got me thinking
Eek, that tab off the side turns me off
not a fan of lifting the top without screws… this would def wear looose overtime
Wen GB?
Sound not foamy like Epoch
didn't put pe in there i think
not a bad quality but def not worth the price jump..

Sadly this is a raffle 😭
Another raffle! I’d love to get one but these raffles systems are horrible. You need to be lucky now to get a premium board…don’t like this at all.
still dont understand why cant they do a regular gb to get ppl pay up first. that way they will have the exact money and number for the manufacturing

Are you pronouncing it as...jelly epic?
It's how epoch is pronounced in american
believe it or not that’s the correct pronunciation
That’s the American English pronunciation, like with solder/sodder. It’s ee-pok outside the US
Ohhh now I get it, it's British and American English thingy
@@anthonyshortful got it...yeah exactly
Not that you can even buy this
That sounds shitty as hell to me. I hate that sound lol.. good looking board though.
Gasket nips!! 🤣😆🤣😆
