- The 2021 Ferrari 812 Competizione and Competizione A, limited-edition special series car, are derived from the 812 Superfast.
The 812 Competizione and 812 Competizione A sport the most exhilarating V12 on the automotive scene and is derived from the multi-award-winning engine powering the 812 Superfast. The result is a naturally-aspirated 830 cv engine that pairs impressive power with electrifying delivery and the inimitable soundtrack that Ferrari V12 purists know well. To boost the output of the engine, which has the same 6.5-litre displacement as the 812 Superfast’s V12, several areas have been significantly re-engineered to achieve a new record red line while optimising the fluid-dynamics of the intake system and combustion, and reducing internal friction.

Sounds better at 9000 imo. Maybe it's just the restriction filters but I prefer the Superfast sound.

Don’t worry. Porsche are developing a 911 that will run on synthetic fuels which are carbon neutral and so politically correct. And Ferrari often say the V12 is the icon of their brand so i doubt it’s anywhere close to the end.

@@missemotional8710 erm...yes they are? The 812 is the replacement for the F12. They both use variants of the F140 V12 engine for a start. They’re both 7 speed DCT, front engined, naturally aspirated, V12, grand touring, RWD Ferraris. You couldn’t buy an F12 at the same time as the 812...because the 812 replaced the F12.
They’re not actually much different - slightly larger engine on the 812, 4 wheel steering and a new interior...the 812 is pretty much a facelifted F12. And the 812 Comp is absolutely the factual successor to the F12 TDF

@@RustiekeRakker It's a rare and highly desirable limited edition track(ish) model, the last of the Ferrari N/A V12's, with the exhaust improved upon over the standard 812 already, and it sounds absolutely perfect as it is. That'd be like adding two dicks to Michelangelo's "David" lol...
@@gavinhalm3016 Well imo you get rid of the all the sound damping that they have to do because of regulations. Now you just enable the engine to make the sound that it's able to make, I love it. If you look into their exhaust systems on F12's and 812's on RUclips, it's amazing, old school Formula 1 vibes. They make it sound natural and not just extra loud
@@RustiekeRakker All joking around on my part aside, I understand Novitec does excellent work. I personally just wouldn't let them touch something of this nature. Now, get a "regular" 812, and I'd be willing to perhaps give it a whirl. But on something like one of these special masterpieces, I'm too much of a traditionalist Ferrari appreciator to mod it.
