She's literally redefining the female voice right in front of us. I grew up in the 1960s and I haven't been this amazed by a musical artist since I first heard Jimi Hendrix back in 1967. I listened to Wicked Game first, then Dernier Danse, then Rechenka (the three songs that reactors normally go for first). I think Human can be a bit of a blunt introduction to Diana. Yes, this is a cover of the hugely popular song from a few years ago by Rag 'n' Bone Man. Thank you for reading her story out. Tragic and yet inspiring as to what she has become.

@@SpaceCattttt realistically not everyone has all the talents, but if diana do find a great writer or composer i think she can be like micheal jackson... but i wont hope for more extra ordinary for a being, were a human after all... lol... not everyone has all the talents, MJ for example cant play instrument but make great music, while others can play many instrument and can sing and act and direct too but are still infamous due to luck coz they are bound to their own culture and cannot go pass their countries, and i some who cannot act or direct but can write music and play many instrument and sing are known throughout the world... but even tho not the whole world respected their music becoz of their nature/genre their bring...
her talent is good enough as it is but i think now she needs more support than ever like a talented composer or song writer or something... not everyone has all the talents, but if youre saying she should make her own album yeah i agree... writing by herselves no... that is enough... but if she can it sure will be good right? but you havent seen someone who tried to be a superman in this world and in the end ended up clapping on the ground and loosing all of their abilities...

Greetings from Scotland! Bravo young sir! You took the time to research your subject very well! A great start that will make a massive difference as you go through Diana's wonderful world! This was 15yo Diana singing in an amazing Russian project "You are Super" for abandoned/disadvantaged children because Diana spent some years in an orphanage when she was 3yo as you already know. She is a natural dramatic contralto (VERY deep!) which is rare in females but exceptionally rare in someone so young! Diana was born way over in the far eastern side of Russia in Primorsky Territory, northeast of Vladivostok. Her adoptive family moved to Togliatti, in western Russia near the Volga River then after Igor Krutoy (a famous (DIMASH?) composer/producer) gifted Diana an apartment in Moscow she moved there and still lives there! It makes it easier for her to study at GITIS International, the largest and oldest theatrical State Institution in Russia. You already know her channel, this is where you will find well over 400 performances - Originals, Covers and concerts etc.

Here some information about the voice and musicality of this 8th wonder of the world:
Diana is a dramatic contralto, the rarest and lowest female voice type. Also Diana's voice has a polyphonic undertone = first subharmonic (Pocket folds, aryepiglottic folds vibrate in addition to the vocal cords). Means: You hear the normal sington and a tone an octave lower. ( ruclips.net/video/o4jgPdGrZYI/видео.html) Not everyone can hear that clearly. Diana has a perfect pitch too and her sense of rhythm were extraordinary even as a little girl.
From an interview with Alexander Stepin who worked with Diana at the "You are super" Show:
"At rehearsals, Diana is very restrained. She is generally a human of few words, with her own story inside, so for me it is always not easy to work with her. Well, now it has become easier for me, because I began to understand her better. She has one feature that surprised me and even delighted me. First, she is just singing the song, she sings well. And then she says: 'I was singing without emotions. Am I to sing with emotion now?' I say: well of course! And she switches on some kind of toggle inside her, and than she presses me into a chair by her emotions. What she does at this moment, how she does it, I do not know. But I, in fact, do not need to know this".
She is also very versatile, her styles are, among others, folk, rock, pop, balads, bossa nova, french chanson, flamenco, yodeling. And she masters all perfectly.

Here are three reasons why Diana doesn't sound human.
First, she is a dramatic contralto, which is the absolute rarest type of female voice. It allows her to sing very dramatic/powerful, very (I mean VERY) deep, very dark, very rich.
Second, she has a spectacular larynx. She won the genetics lottery, and it's been called the Eighth Wonder of the World.
Third, she is polyphonic, which means she can produce multiple harmonics within her voice at the same time. This is what allows her to sound like two people at once. (more below)
When you add all that up you basically get a person who creates her own auto-tune. She doesn't need electronic auto-tune. She IS her own auto-tune.
And the effect when you hear her is totally mind-blowing. It's like she's singing right through you, like a sword straight into your soul. Literally NOBODY else on the planet has a voice like hers. She's not one in a million, she's one in seven billion.
