Since I first watched this video a few months back, these roller techniques have saved me about a hundred strokes. Seriously, I use one or two almost every round. Discraft wins at social media!

Very helpful, thank you Discraft and Mike Randolph for this video!
Aside from teaching me some new shots, it encouraged me to get more practice and be creative with my get-out-of-trouble shots. Working on this skill set saved me a bunch of strokes during my last tournament. Not to mention these types of shots are fun to execute

At around the 8 minute mark when he is doing that diving putt, is it a foot fault? His body hits the leaves and the grass before the disc is released, or does that only count for feet/hands.

@jlittleope1 Rule 803.05a “... It is legal for a player's throwing motion to cause incidental movement of an obstacle.” but “...A player must choose the stance which results in the least movement of any obstacle...” and rule 803.04 A(2) “ have no supporting point contact with the marker disc or any object closer to the hole than the rear edge of the marker disc”. Not sure he did. You would have to call for a ruling within 3 seconds of the throw. I, for one, would still be in awe 3 seconds later.

It would not be a foot fault if he were outside 10 meters. Dunetraveller's impressive use of copy/paste was useful, but I don't think it answered the question.

I play in a very wooded area and I constantly have to make putts that require a hard curve behind a bunch of trees or bushes. Which disc would you recommend for a good slicing hyzer putt?

as long as you're outside the 10 m circle, it's legal... he released (from what i could tell) before he hit the ground.

In my opinion the execution of the diving putt was illegal.. it seemes that his right knee hits the ground past the mini before the disc leaves his hand :/ ofc in a live competitive situation it would be almost impossible to make that verdict. If he made the dive from the knee (right knee behind the mini) it most likely would've been legal altho limiting his angle/reach a little.
    Awesome rollers tho :O

Joakim Vauhkonen I think he released before his knee hit the ground. It isn't much different than Feldberg and Ulibarri's step putt. They get so close to touching the ground with their foot before releasing that you almost can't tell which came first.
