The amount of resources used to fly a flower to another country just for a token gift. Planet has no chance.
It's ironic it's ironic that it's at a time of year where most practicing countries are out of season for flower growing.
Just love how much Japan value their products / effort of their farmers and fishermen.
yea im not paying money to eat bird puke supe nor would i even get paid to try it ...people are fu(kin weird
Just love how much they value marine life & the ocean's ecosystems.
They value their craftsmen well too.
overrated. this is why Japan dominates with the most products overpriced. its ridiculous
@@IhateAlot718 it's like luxury fashion brands.
it's the presentation of the different cultures and languages that keeps me watching these videos instead of just researching the information in text format. It is insanely interesting and entertaining both ways but when you get more senses involved it becomes easier to absorb the information.
Really? Tbh, i think scrubbing my nuts in the shower is beneficial for the next person that licks them.
Insider always has the best documentaries. I absolutely love it. Props to the whole team working on putting this masterpiece together.
Peeping in your mothers window has a significant amount of entertainment as well. But i'll support this comment. Btw, where does your grandmother live?
@@mysticalvomit going for that “edgy” comment and you just come off as corny and unfunny. It’s obvious you’re trying too hard.

Fantastic documentary!!!!!
First time I am watching
Well done!!! And kudos to all hardworking people
May God Bless you greatly❤
I absolutely love this channel!! I have rewatched every video over and over at work, they are always so interesting. I love that they make these super long videos. Thank you so much for always consistently providing us all with very entertaining and informative content!
I have rewatched your dog licking his balls over and over again. And i must say. We are at an agreement here. Ty.

The most heartwarming story about soap, you'll ever hear.
Your content is truly making a difference in farmers' lives.
I like you two together. There is something extra there. Thank you.
I just love this show , I love to learn about recycling it and what materials can be recycled fairly easy and what materials can not. It also shows small business people are not rich but they are rich in ideas.😊❤. It's nice to see that they get recognition for their hard work.😊
The cameramen who climbed up in those caves ahead of the bird nest hunters must have been very skilled climbers
I absolutely love it. Props to the whole team working on putting this masterpiece together.
Oh, and I forgot to mention that I enjoyed this offering. Thanks.... 😎👍
I will be forever grateful to you, you changed my entire life and I will continue to preach on your behalf for the whole world to hear you saved me from huge financial debt with just a small investment, thank you Mrs Maria Reyes
I'm surprised you know her. I've been making a lot of profits investing with her for a few months now.
Mrs Reyes changed my life because of the high profits I got from investing with her.
You invest with Mrs Reyes too? Wow that woman has been a blessing to me and my family.
I'm new at this, please how can I reach her?
I was skeptical at first till I decided to try. Its huge returns is awesome. I can't say much
Binge watching at work. Best channel :)
useless job?
Lol, just resign. Your company is paying you to do your job, not watch.

For centuries Nido bird’s nest soup are so renowned. These can only be found in the caves of El Nido in Palawan. It made its mark in Chinese culinary as well as South East Asian Cuisine.
Those birds nest climber are the legit mountain climber👏🏼👏🏼 Salud🎉- heart pounding to watch them though
As a rock climber for fun, they had me shook. They had no belay or harness. Impressive ❤
Wow I knew my favorite facial serum is made from Swiftlet Nest Extracts but I had no idea they were so hard to harvest !
Does it do wonders to your skin??? must be expensive
That crawdad farmer is seriously kicking ass. That guy is doing everything he can to make sure his business works for him and his people. Mad props.
Perfect to listen to while sleeping =)
3 hours plus, this i love.
Wonderful to see the DR producing world class Aloe!!!
Hopefully they'll be able to keep Haiti from destroying it all...
Enjoyed the candid interview with Bob Carr. Would be keen to hear an interview with Julia Gillard in the same spirit.
i love the soap family and their photo. nice people!
Another great upload keep it up. I omly care about exposing scam cheating in industries btw. Thata why i like this and the last video about fake honey truffle and other stuff
That Rolex episode was insanely interesting!
i love zoom whitening thing! it is so unique and innovative!
1) special super unique UV-"protective" glasses, aka aliexpress dental uv no uv, stop uv glasses with optical density 0.1 maybe - 1.5$ (real glasses for protecting against uv with optical density at least 5 - min. 100-150$)
2) 2 cotton pads - 0.1$
3) special super unique protective gel aka food grade silicon - 0.2$ per amount used
4) special super unique whiting gel aka h2o2 from your local grow shop + gel media to hold h2o2 total 1$ per amount used
5) each super unique star seated in the same chair - 150$ per "star" seated before you
I like how these are based on how things were before AND how they are now, after COVID-19 hit, so we know how things work, now, and with comparisons 😊
A hundred years from now there will be no more tuna left!
Those nest harvesters are getting ABSOLUTELY ROBBED!!
literally so badly
And how about those birds.
I needed this like yesterday! 👍
The Aloe-vera, I'd just use a machine to remove the husk, no need to be gentle, its going into the shredder. The slightly higher extraction ratio by hand should be dwarfed by the time saving and labor costs.
There is such a high differential in density between husk and gel that you could probably just pulverize the whole leaf to a specific level and filter press all the husk out.
Between the gel and the skin is a very thin layer of a bitter latex crap so squeezing or pulverizing the leaf will contaminate the gel with the crap latex.
@@pinkpriss You could technically filter that out also but at that point you aren't exactly saving effort.
By using underpaid labor, companies can aggregate value by legally marketing their products as artisanal and pretending they are "keeping traditions alive" and such - their productivity is much worse but there's a market for that as long as few companies focus on it.
Mechanization within regions that offer cheap labor is also often less profitable than its (massive) increases in productivity might suggest due to manufacturers that provide the machines often imposing software and tool restrictions in countries that don't have strong Right to Repair laws, plus there are technological barriers and maintenance costs.
@DaSilverJoker The other comment makes sense, the latex layer can fluck up the quality of the end product. You are just spewing crap that sounds related but not really and of no value. Are you a politician by any chance?
@@DaSilverJokerwell said, plus in some remote parts of the world, it doesn’t matter how much more money you could make out of automation rather than how many families you offer work which translates then to power
That love depleteing the ocean tune. Sharks fins n so on
These "xx" industries etc. videoes are great. You learn about poverty and business in many cases, like Acai in Brazil.
The language display is entertaining and admirable! Dubbed docu-videos are so much less impactful to the senses and overall learning experience. Thank you for keeping their voices.
who recorded the gemstone mines xD i'd be too scared to be the cameraman there, toss the camera to one of the experts and sit outside

@11:15 Vietnamese people raise the swiflet birds and they make nest locally. They sell them for an affordable price in Vietnam. You don't have to go to the island or dangerous mountain to collect the nest.
I have no idea why I watched this whole thing... But I did and I enjoyed it
Kind of like when Bart peaked Nirvana at birth? Aah, nevermind.
this channel is a goldmine of inspiration and motivation. turns out college really is a scam for most
actually if a company says "With Aloe" and it has none, then its fraud.

24:01 to keep things in perspective $2,800 a day is a million dollars in a year , so not too shabby for selling one thing a day. keep things in perspective, it's still a huge percentage and a great yearly income. he's not "scraping by"
Having such a store, and living in NYC that figure is not over the moon. But if it is 1m after all costs that is very good.
I mean 2,800 a day is a lot of money
Ah this is a mashup of ur previous videos. Tbh i usually dont like that but well done
Considering it’s their careers and industry, aren’t they concerned about sustainability? If they aren’t, it’s incredible shortsighted.
Careers and money-making oppourtunities are short-lived. It is Government's duty to make people comply with far-sighted sustainability.
It's called the tragedy of the commons. It would be in everyone's collective interest to deplete the resource slower, but individual actors can't do that as other individual actors will merely take their place and take advantage.
It's often that an overseeing authority like a government agency is required in these instances to enforce such reductions
their career are at big risk cause China and korea cut Japan seafood import

Only 32M!?! What a steal, Im going to get right on that!
Ya know, I wasn’t hungry and I’m trying not to eat before bed but you guys gotta go showing me pictures of bird spit soup. Thanks.
I really like the voice speaking in the video..
Aloe Vera? Lol I just threw some away, it is invasive here where I live.
Lots of Tuna here jejeje
Do you live along the Mexican border? I heard there was lots of invasion going on around there.
Brilliant!
3:30:20 😂😂😂😂 he said.. “get quick rich scheme”
Is that the one scheme where Richard figures out a way to run faster?
Used to pick Aloe out the ground my youth day in Aruba. They grew like weeds, step in poison bush rub Aloe, ashma? Swollow Aloe, hair growth and hair strength, mix conditioner with Aloe. Problaby stiped the island when they realized its worth!
Every time I fall asleep with RUclips on I wake up to stuff like this playing
Aloe, I have the plants in my back yard, I've never had a positive response for cuts, burn, sunburn, etc, . who knows
$15.5m for a watch. It better be able to tell me my death date
And at that price, you better hope that date isn't too soon.
This would be a really good show if it werent for all the subtitles instead of voice over translations
According to the numbers given by the factory in your aloe vera section, it takes 13 leaves to make a gallon, not 20.
3.5 hrs of this. i was intreasted. i don't have 3.5 hrs to burn or I fall asleep
thanks you very much
im just going to say, there i sno level of quality that would get me to spend 500 on a watch... let alone 25k lol
That teeth whitening is total scam. 😂 $750 for all this.
and it felt like an advertisement for it. what producers do to get free stuff
Interesting but at the beginning of the video they say tuna wrong
When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be.
When I am what I am, I might let go of becoming.
The Rolex guy needs to star in his Netflix series.
GROWTH and INFLATION are proportional ,keep checking the production rate
Tuna, btw, is almost an endangered species.
This is likely one of the reasons.
I had a Zoom teeth whitening session, and my teeth hurt so bad for a couple of days afterward. Crest white strips work as well and don’t make my teeth as sensitive.
The quota on blue fin tuna should have happened a long time ago along with other seafood. There’s so much overfishing and many fish have been overfished to extinction.
It has already been proven that there is no significant health benefit to eating birds nest that justifies the price or the cost to human lives for finding wild ones. It’s a cultural tradition that perpetuates exaggerated health claims while a bird’s active home is stolen. And the birds stress themselves out having to make new nests every time. It’s not a cure-all as many people believe and the reality is most people eat it as a status symbol.
My uncle cut his arm down the middle and almost bleed to death doing something similar to the açai farmer with that blade in his back pocket.
A little secret, Rolex is actually the buyer of that 15m watch. They made billions after that.
So they find bird spit and feed it to people
YES
The over fishing of the Blue Fin Tuna has become a crime against nature of the worst kind. The oceans are dying faster beyond any point of possible recovery. A moratorium of all world fishing should take place for at least five years for any chance of recovery.!
Yeah, I think the next major war is going to be over the oceans be it pollution an/or over fishing.
DAMI MONG ALAM
Between the *endless* strip-mining of our oceans, the choking of our rivers with chemicals leeching into the waterways, dumping tons of micro plastics that have been working it's way up the food chain. I honestly think the next world war will be over the oceans.
