This is really eye opening for how much logistics, work and effort goes into making the airline industry work. It's something one as a passenger never sees and it's frankly quite baffeling the efforts needed to make the huge machinery that is the airline industry go around. Experience, ontime (hopefully) and safe. Interesting😃
Wow! I never thought about how many responsibilities flight attendants have. People should have more respect for them, they are basically the Police, EMS, and Firefighters in the air. I wish the airlines would promote videos like this for customer awareness.
flight attendants probably have mental issues to willingly get on planes that much. something's bound to go wrong eventually, as it had many times before.
This is the type of information that needs to be shown to bored high school students. Encourage them to learn as much as possible....shown them how simple....and eventually more complicated principles are applied in real life.
Thank you, Insider, for all of your absolutely fascinating videos and investigations into the most interesting (and/or obscure) topics. The teams on these series need a hefty raise.
They really named the dog poopy 💀
fr 😭
😂
*whistle whistle whistle
C'mere poopy
random, but before i got my rabbit. its old owner was a friends son and he named him poopy butt bc he pooped so much, should have kept that name 😭
@@sacvhiEnglish much?
I love seeing the dogs at work at the airport whenever I go!
It makes me scared even i dont have anything and i want to find excuse how to kick the dog i love dogs just not police dogs
Amazing. So much quality content is packed in one single video.
Refreshing video to watch in the sea of Titan videos. It was horrific but has been concluded in massive detail, enough.
The food for Singapore Airlines is legit gourmet and looks absolutely delectable! ❤
Wow I wish they had those kid of hygiene and food safety protocols throughout the food services and production industries.
after watching this I might eat out exclusively at airlines
Maintaining the the plane runway and lights on the runway 😮
Wow I had no idea didn't think too much about it ever
thats one cool job 😎👍🏽
The fact that they didn't mention job as a pilot is absolutely fascinating.
This is about people who work behind the scenes. Passengers are fully aware of pilots.
damn the atc man talking to 15 plane at the same time, i can even keep up talking to my gf and try to do project
Unfortunately in aviation all the professions are to be known as unsung heroes cus the bitter truth is that pilots alone fall under exception over this to the passengers 🙃
As a flight attendant, I can confirm the deep cleaning bit is ABSOLUTE BS, even during the pandemic
I have heard this a LOT.
Being in first class on Emirates has to be amazing.
My friend recently flew first (upgrade with miles), he sent me some pics. Absolutely stunning. The attention to detail is crazy.
All the best to you💝🎉😘
You forgot to include the personnel assigned at the checkin counters, boarding gates, lost luggage, etc..
Only If you have to go to the counter.
I remember going to the counter when the flight Is a non-eu and or I cannot get checked in online.
But 90% of the time then I can check in online...
Seems like this video was geared towards more of the “interesting” or obscure jobs . Not saying that their jobs are not of value , just more common and recognized so it wont make a interesting video.
The title is 10 fascinating jobs, not 437.
10 dude 10
50:47 thank you! As someone whose family income is dependent on agriculture, it was nice to hear about the protection of bio security. Along with an example of *why* the agriculture specialists are important.
Flight Attendant Trainer: We're here to show you what it takes to be a Delta Airline Flight Attendant.
10 seconds into training session..
Flight Attendant Trainer: Sir, our flight is overbooked. I need you, your wife & toddler to gave up your seats & exit the airplane or I'm calling security.
United flight trainer: Now, what do we do when we see a doctor? Correct! We kick them off and call security to beat them up!
55:50 That cats face had me rolling 😂 He is bugging the hell out wondering what the hell is happening.
Love your content! Keep it coming!
Flight Attendants are amazing 😮
Great video! Thanks Business Insider ♥
I have been watching you for years and didn't even notice I was not subscribed. This episode touched me so much I hit the subscrib button. Hoping to see you get past 1million sub.
Awesome video
But the environment impact from this is mind blowing to the supplies customers get to the food containers . Rubber on run way .
It’s just crazy the amount of flights in the air is mind blowing !
Hats off to the dogs and their hamdlers🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤thank you.
Very good work 👍
Man do I feel like an omelette now! I'm going to book a flight just to get one!
that's dedication for a roulette-omelette...
If you feel like an omelet, your mother was a chicken.
I have it on good authority they’ll serve French toast with maple syrup the day you’ll be flying!
Very interesting, and informative!! Thanks!!
They are all part of a MDT (multidisciplinary team) to ensure air safety, be it on the ground, or in the air.
To remove runway lights twice a week to clean them so pilots aren't flying into a blackhole, to the canine handlers, the cooks, the cleaners, the mechanics, the controllers, the pilots and the cabin crew, all of these people sing from the same hymn sheet; 'air safety'. Only cog in the works is the unpredictable passengers that make fools of themselves by being intoxicated, and jeopardising all of the hard work that has been done to ensure our safety.
Very true
Very interesting!
By the time it gets to us, it looks like something the cat spewed up. 😂
Very interesting @ informative, thank you!! As a Captain with 30 years of experience, Boeing 757, 727, Fokker F-28, G-159, DC-3 and smaller aircraft as a bush pilot
Wow, this is interesting!
These workers in white suits work harder than the rest of the crew onboard the plane. They’ve got what it takes to break boundaries. God bless them all.
You can't really compare them since their work is so different. I'd say the chefs work equally as hard as the flight attendants, handlers, maintenance folk, and everyone else in this video.
I don't know... the fact that they put themselves on a plane multiple times a day everady.... if it was me that fact would start eating at me pretty hard... my luck is pretty bad so i'd be expecting the worst eventually.... not like i have a fear of flying... i just would really hate to put the fate of my life in multiple mecahincs and pilots hands constantly. All just for a job as a flight attendant... plus they go through some stressful shit with passengers... evreyones job sucks in some way and everyone desreves respect for helping the world go round... plus if I'm flyin I'm not gonna eat any of those omletts or shitty food those people made so to me their job is kinda worthless... very robotic and easily preformed... if i could listen to a podcast and get decent pay to actually support a family doing the job... i probably could do it for the rest of my life... only danger seems realtively the same as normal day to day activities.
I would have liked to see the United Airlines flight attendant training, especially the part about "reacommodating customers".
I find that funny because just like air strips our hwy’s/interstates, country roads are the exact same.
Thx Danni...
Is there a way of putting my nane on a waiting list for Patreon.
To be honest $40p/m is a bit of a stretch at the moment.
I could afford upto about $30p/m.
Any chance of a new $30 tier or a way of finding out when a spot on the $16 tier becomes available.
Thx Mate.
I noticed there was no detail regarding the Emirates free housing on offer in Dubai. Perhaps this is a result of these complimentary residences that the flight attendants are so lucky to be bestowed with bear a striking resemblance to Treblinka.
Great share …..
(idk if its different for other Countries) As someone who has worked the same exact job as the chefs that cook for airlines. they cook/prep food close to the airport. they are very strict when it comes to delivering the food to the airlines. like if there's a delay at the factory, there are BIG BIG fines that get issued
What I honestly always wonder is like what happens if someone uses like 10 cans of axe body spray on there luggage, can the K9 officer still pick out the right smells
Nice
amazing work 👌🏻
1:01:16 state with Corpsupply obviously, but continents require parliaments but
That omelette woman working soooo hard 4:50
Incredible work!
Brave flight attendance.
really hope that delta actually takes safety that seriously
Thanks,
I worked years ago for a while, but we prepared only crew meals.
1:09:23 Provisional US passports are good for the UN sector but cross-verify with crown panes for securitization and markets assessments eg: quebec, anzac, scotland, EU
To Delta Airlines ramp employees at JFK airport.
49:49 I don’t think it was necessary to keep this shot in the final film😂😂😂😂
Biscuit found some Salami Induveca 😂🤣
5:30 he looks like John Wayne gacy to me.
Oh no he's spraying the filets with non-stick spray. What the shit
Pam stinks so bad when it heated. Why don’t they use olive oil?
@@genxx2724who says it's pam? There are HUNDREDS of cooking sprays.... Some are actually very expensive....
forgot the most important asspect about most airlines and airports, The fuelers, persoanlly being an aircraft fueler we are the underdogs we are almost completely forgot about considering our tremendous role in the role reason why airplanes are in the sky in the first place, planes absolutly cannot leave the terminal without the right fuel without it alot wrong can happen
like ya cut g
Airlines first class meals are equivalent to getting the food that's been made a few hours ago at a Petrol/Gas station and sat there getting cold, it is very disappointing for the money you spend lol. At least the chair reclines more i guess lol
3:10 what about spicy section 😫
Ayo 1st one here
Good
The air controller job is not easy and so stress.
I want a job as a terminal actor.
Peanuts will do as Long as I arrive safely 😂
As a Ground handler, wish we could ban the carry-on suitcases like during Covid. the passengers survived with limited carry-on, now, it's just excess luggage brought on board.
Do they have salted peanuts. I'd prefer that over all that bs. No chips :(( (Fries)
turnaround coordinator erasure!
they dont want u to bloat because theres no room xD
-- and when you fly a budget airline, they charge you $10 just to describe what it's like to be on a plane that serves food.
there was a dog in singapore with a cough, because it smoked 20 a day
🤩🤩🤩🤩
Hmm as a military pilot who flies large planes, I land at many airfields with poorly maintained lights (or fields that don't have many lights in the first place) and it's not that bad... On the other hand, I must say that flying an ILS, the plane does not land itself. The pilot still has to land the plane... There are different versions of ILS that take you down to different heights above the runway. 200 feet is the most common at non-major airfields. The pilot has to fly the rest by hand and actually land the thing.
Tak ada senduk ke Singapore ni? Ceduk pakai tangan je.
👍👍👍
Ramp agents always get left out 😐
What happens if you blast a real big fart as the snifferdog walks by? Might that distract them?
It will sound like a gunshot then you’ll be in real trouble 😂
Sounds like eating food outside in utah lol
I recall when such meals were served on airliners. Now I guess only First Class gets it, huh? Now, unless I am going to different country, I drive. Eat at restaurants where The food is cooked while you watch, or go to the Jon. Check into a motel and sleep on a real bed. Crossed the Pacific 10 times in the Military.
The food served was great.
Then, flew to Germany. Food was still pretty good.
8 years later. Flight to the P.I.
Box meals. C-rats were better.
Now? I don't fly. Airlines have
Too many customers to care much about keeping passengers comfortable and happy.
Oh well, I just travel by car. Eat well. Sleep well. Stop when and where I want. And the cost is no more that the plane ticket costs.
However! Continental Airlines was outstanding in all respects!
Eastern came in Second.
Pan Am was good.
Delta, was fair.
These are just my opinions, and no insult was/is intended.
Recently flew Singapore airlines twice and the vegetarian meals were so, so bad!! Do not be fooled
Did he just hold the food with barehand? 1:06
The dog guy is full of sheed. It's been proven time and time again that dogs actually suck at detecting what theyre supposed to in the field.
Took a damn pandemic to force the airlines to clean the planes correctly
They still have not trained flight crews in how to deal with snakes on a plane.
7000 omelets a day made manually? Seems like it could be automated without too much ingenuity, especially the swirling. Hmmmm
43K starting is not very good for such an important job
“Comfortable” 💀
So the dogs are only trained to sniff out explosives not drugs, good to know
43k for a TSA staff who train dogs for bomb detection? Thats pittance.
That's terrible pay for a professional job. But I guess everyone that works for the TSA doesn't get paid all that well.
They know us as frequent flyers because our names come up on the manifest, hence the purser always comes up and welcomes me by name just because I’m a Platinum member with Emirates 🤷🏼♂️ it’s not rocket science !!
I want to be one of those dog handlers, but I'm guessing you can't puff if you work for the government....
y'all just repeat old videos a lot now
inequality is essential for capitalism. The system isnt broken, its working as designed.
2 unskippable 20 secs ads wtf
RUclips premium. Haven't seen an ad in 4 years.
@@williamboyle8918 I ain't paying for this 😅
@@realzubidoo so stop complaining lol
@@williamboyle8918hell yeah. So worth it.
i love poopy
Those chefs must be sick of eggs lol. I know I would be if I had to make 7000 omelletes a day. Not just that, you have to be dressed up like a surgeon. Remember how everyone complained about wearing a mask for just a few hours? Imagine making omelettes in that heat while you yourself are getting cooked in that attire while having to breathe through a mask.
Honestly, all I took from this video is just how incredibly wasteful air travel is.
