  • Sometimes we all get the feeling of "low mojo" when it comes to being creative. As I am going through this dry time I decided to make some easy, relaxing collage fodder papers to be torn up and used at a later date. Enjoy!

Hi Helen, totally get where you are coming from, i have multiplies of projects on the go and when my mojo goes i go back to all the old stuff i did, even years ago with fresh eyes.
That seems to work for me, plus I have a journal of all the templates and things I have made from paper right up to textiles, and that journal has helped me get my mojo back. I call it my springboard full of inspired projects I like from yourself and others it is My Faith Journal drawn from all I have Learn'd. Love the collage and colours . God's creation brings the creativity to us as he created all things for us to look at. Huge hugs xx

Jude, I love the idea of a journal with samples of old work. I really need to start one myself. Yes, God our Creator inspires us with all of his wonderful works. For me right now it's all the plants growing around our cabin. Hugs to you and your family too, dear friend. 🤗🩷🤗

I know all about missing mojo! It’s scary when it goes away for months. Happy to have some creativity back finally. The gluing paper to paper is always a go-to for me. Your papers here are really fun and I hope to see them in future videos. Blessings, Liz.

Liz, it is really scary when your art mojo goes away. Every time it's happened before I've been able to revive it by gluing paper to paper. Looking at the collage book from the library helped too. I love the books you got recently. They would certainly get me creating! I will be making videos on using some of these papers. On will be available tomorrow! 🩷🩷🩷

Diane, my girlfriend was reading the local paper at the library while I searched the art section to find something to jump start my art mojo. This collage book was just the thing! I'll make some videos of how to use these papers too! 🩷🩷🩷

I tried your painty circles and loved it, so definitely want to try this. I am usually awake by 4:30-5 and love listening to the birds start their day while a drink a cup of coffee.

Annette, I hope you had fun with the painty circles. I'm going to make some videos showing how to use some of this collage paper too. There is nothing better than sitting on the porch, sipping coffee and listening to all the birds. That is my heaven on earth! 🩷🐦🩷

I’m with you Helen- definitely lacking art mojo. I’ve had a lot happening, and now it’s winter I don’t really want to get too messy. Might give this a try though. We don’t have whippoorwills to serenade us- kookaburras and magpies here. 🤗

Oh Janine sweetie, I'm sorry you have a low art mojo too. Maybe if you get some art books from your library or just commit to gluing some paper to paper, you'll get a jump start. It happens to all of us so please don't stress about it! 🩷🩷🩷

Hi Helen, I feel exactly the same atm. But I think that’s ok. We need to take breaks from time to time. Fun painty papers 🌈🌻🤗

Yes, Kristina I think we all go through this at some time. I've been so busy with my gardens at both houses it's hard to find time to craft most days! Do you garden year round in Australia or is it too cold in the winter? 🩷🩷🩷

@@MossCottageMarket we garden all year round but a bit less in the winter. Less watering anyway 💦

Oh Neva, I hope you find that butcher paper. Gluing paper to paper and slapping on paint is truly freeing when you have a low artistic mojo. Have fun! 🩷🩷🩷

Wow Susan, I never thought of "getting together" on facetime. I've never used it before but that would be fun. I did get my mojo back making these papers and starting to use them in projects! I think we all go through these dry art times, don't we? 🩷🩷🩷
