@@susanvanvleck3957 I am going to take a guess and say they started off with the blue dyed fabric and then dipped in bleach? I was wondering the same thing.
@@HelloKatie85 the white fabric was folded in a triangular way, tied at all three corners, then dipped. I watched another video later that showed someone doing it
Beautiful! It looks so easy! You've created 2 beautiful designs that look hand painted. I would love to see how you made the pattern of blue sekka! Have you ever tried that pattern with more colors on the same piece? Did you dye on cotton? Have you ever dyed this pattern on silk? Booth of your pieces are beautiful! Thank you for generously sharing your beautiful art with us! God Bless 😃
Thanks! Yes i clamp 2 side just like the pink, its a bit complicated, i ll make another video of the blue one, i cant speak english sorry, its hard to say. Thanks before! Have a good day dear
If I do this with a dye bath on stove top (dying polyester) will it get the same affect...or will leaving it in the dye so long (half hour) change the way the dye saturates and not get as distinctive a pattern?
Folks attempting these patterns/techniques you can reclaim your dye bath waters for future dying. In other words, don't pour it out or down a drain. After dying your fabrics you can pour each colour dye in large glass bottles with tight leads. Glass not plastic. We clean and sterilize our 32oz juice bottles for this. Some baths require 2-4 bottles to save one colour of dye. I mention this because most folks new to dying or using tubs/containers tend to throw away their leftover dyes instead of reclaim them for later. Plus, dye pigments can often be too expensive to throw away. 😏
Please show us how you created the blue one ,I really want to know, I experimented two times with indigo dye in our college lab ,but none of the time I got that blue one ,due to some limitations I can't efford to experiment on same thing for several times, so please show it once..
How did you do the blue one? ALSO Please Speak Louder or Use a Microphone! Very hard to hear you. Don’t be shy your English is great! Easy to understand, too! Just too soft!😊😀
Finally, an UPDATES here ruclips.net/video/6qjjsDiB4oc/видео.html

I'd love to know how the blue was done! However I'm thinking all three sides were dipped instead of just one
