This is so cool! I learned how to fold 6-sided snowflakes from paper from my grandmother when I was a kid, so I think I'll use that technique combined with this one, and make some awesome snowflake shirts for myself and my mom.

yesss ,it's need to practiced a lot..
my second result was turn out really beautiful,especially the snowdrop. But i make a mistake,i give some hightlight in the last dyeing,but it just on the top layer so the colour wasn't blend really well. But my teacher said tht mine was not tht bad even tho there are mistakes hihihi ♡
however i'm gonna try it once again,wish me luck aaagainn ✊✊

Dear Rhiah I want to say a huge thank you for all your videos. I was asked to make a wedding canopy (Jewish chuppah) for my son and future daughter-in-law for their wedding which is coming up in a few weeks. I used to silk paint but as the fabric needed to be 3 m x 3 m that was not possible as I do not have a frame big enough. I decided to tie-dye a large piece of fabric for them. I’ve only ever done tie-dying once before and on a very small scale. Your amazing videos particularly your tapestry Mandala videos gave me the confidence and the necessary techniques and skills to be able to do this. I watched your videos over and over again I made various samples with a four fold and eight fold and a 16 fold design they chose the eight fold design and then using your snowflake pattern but expanded because of the size of the fabric I have now made the piece. And it turned out beautifully thank you so so much for the hours of effort that you’ve put into creating your videos which made it possible for me to go from knowing virtually nothing to producing a 3 m x 3 m design that is good enough to feature at my sons wedding. Unfortunately there isn’t a facility to post a photo here otherwise I would do so. But I did really want to say thank you your videos are so precise and clear and don’t leave out any steps and you provide so much information. Many many thanks

That snow flake is really cool. I did an ice dye the other day. Didn't have any ice and didn't feel like driving to town so I used snow. Packed it in tight. It turned out ok.

@@TFJ70 probably smaller ones because you’ll use less dye. If you just wanna practice though, you can find flour sack towels at Walmart or any craft store that are small but great for the practice.

The process of tie a threads and dye a fabric, mostly cotton piece = is called "Baandhni" or "Bandhej" art. An Ancient art of India from my native area called Gujarat & Rajasthan. One of my friend's parents are doing it since their thousands of generations !! 😍🤗love from India 🙏

I promise once you get the hang of them though they get easier and easier. As far as Mandala T-shirts I only have a couple reveals on there from when I first started my channel and they were hemostat mandalas. I am in the process of doing a snowflake mandala on a shirt like the tapestry I just uploaded so that will be up in a few days! Thank you for helping me realize I'm slacking there😂.
