Kim Dracula has REALLY grown on me. Started listen to them when I found out they’re touring with A7X and FIR for a concert. And I’ve been PLEASANTLY surprised!
Exactly! I’m going to the Avenged Sevenfold and FIR concert, then after I payed for my tickets, I found out he’s now going to be touring with them! So excited to them all in Tampa 🤍
Loved the expressions on Kyle's face, I'm sure I looked the same when I first heard this, it's such a wild ride! Someone described Jonathan's part as if he were "passing the baton", which I think makes a lot of sense. He seems like such a humble person, who was always just in it for the music, so I can imagine he took the view of not wanting to outshine Kim, but rather support them in creating their art. But yeah, I would love to see another colab. I'm also really intrigued to see how Kim performs live, I imagine that this would be pretty difficult to replicate.
Kyle and Eric, to answer your question yes Kim can play all the instruments involved. As far as I'm aware Kim recorded all the tracks for the song themselves.
Had no clue about this band. Saw them open for Avenged last Saturday. Absolute insanity, played flawlessly & one of the loudest bands I have ever heard live. My eardrums were blown out. \,,/
The reactions to Kym Dracula are like no other especially when people who have never heard any of their music Make me famous and drown does that and I see your reactions are so full of joy Kyle when things change in their own style doing it their way it's bloody marvellous ❤ their sound gives me goosebumps the minute I hear the screech and scream it just does something to me and it's a bloody good feeling
I love that Kyle mentioned 3 Inches of Blood lol childhood Canadian greatness. 1st song I heard by those guys was Deadly Sinners which Eric should absolutely check out.
This song is just a shotgun of sound… it’s a scatter shot of so many different types of music! Also, that is the best free thing that never gets used🤷♂️
@@Connection-Lost no Shiitake. That, my friend, is called sarcasm. Was only pointing out something I found funny that is incorporated into the reactions.
Just stumbled upon this person the other day, and your guys and your reaction is exactly how I felt internally...Had to get my wife to watch cause she's a metalhead too, but the range....my god the range lol.
Kim's makeup (as a guitarist) reminds me of Dani Filth from Cradle of Filth. Dani must be one of Kim's influences because, there is also a scream at 5:13 that sounds exactly like old Dani Filth.
Yessssssssss! Bring back mosh pit metal PLZ! Did u catch that bass drum he destroyed when he choked the drummer and took over? That wasn't two bass drums with a double bass drum petal on each, bros... And as for Jonathan Davis? I'm soooooooo glad to see him again... I've been really worried about him, after he lost his wife/mother of his children. He's a really nice guy - met him in '94.
They're from Tasmania, the Australian island, so Tasmanian devil action but the Mask fits too!!! They're mom is a vocal coach which fits.....love the drama shirt Eric! Y'all gotta do Drown next, it connects to Make Me Famous!
I searched your channel for reactions to some of his other songs and could only find this and another one.. Did I miss some or did you just not do any more? I love his songs Drown and Superhero...
One: I'm surprised 3 inches of Blood was mentioned as I thought the same about his vocals also with Cattle Decapitation. Two: that big glass 🤣🤣 wasn't expecting that.
People have always said "they could do anything," about a lot of music artists over the years. Kim Dracula actually can DO ANYTHING. He could be a true one man band. I've been OBSESSED
PLEASE READ THIS COMMENT RYKERROAD!!! Nf topic, Nf, before everything in intro and mansion, he has a album called moments, he mentioned this in intro 1. Please take your time to think about reacting to this after everything else, he was inspired by Eminem back then. So he made a album. He mentioned how he wasn't as good in that album but he got better in intro and most people don't remember moments album, just listen to intro and think about it.
loved your reaction, i do believe when he was spinning during the video that was a reference to the Tasmanian Devil from the loony tunes since he is from Tasmania
I loved the 3 Inches of Blood reference haha. They're really nice guys! We actually thought it sounded a bit Judas Priest with those high Rob Halford vocals. This was the first Kim song we heard and I've been hooked since. I really love the blend of genres and Jonathan Davis or Mike Patton are both vocalists that I think would work well with Kim's style.
Samuel wellings aka Kim dracula is a around musician he can play anything he’s pretty much a musician prodigy and has spent pretty all his life in music
Well it’s only 1 guy. He does all instruments. Obviously he has full-ins for video purposes. Glad y’all got to this video. I need Eric’s big ass glass. Also it doesn’t just feature Jonathan Davis, he co-wrote it with Kim
New here. He has an album out. Can't wait till you react to it. Not sure if you know this is that Kim Dracula's music is all done by one person. Which makes this all the more awesome. Also he has an album out.
3 Inches of Blood - very very best 🙂 - some reaction @rykerroad ? mainly Deadly Sinners 🙂 And maybe some hint - Killswitch Engage - Holy Diver - very very good video and song as cover from Dio 🙂
Jon Davis is the best part. Kim, I dont know man, dude feels like hes making music for tiktokers. Like ive heard his singing style like 50 times over from the next "big thing". Last unique-ish sounding nu metal band Ive heard of is Tallah.
Really good song! i'd give it a 9/10! But i wouldve gave it a 9.5 or even a whole 10 if we got Jonathan doing that scat section after Kim. 😅 Got a song for you if your interested, Its a mix of K-Pop and metal where someone took a K-Pop song and overlayed their own metal guitar over it and synced it up with the music video. Extremely smart editing, badass riffs and goes extremely well with the vocals. Aespa - Girls (Metal). RL Instrumentals did the Guitar and Drums.🙂
This looks & sounds like Jon Davis was never in the same room as Kim Dracula. His parts are totally separate, they're never doing a duet, singing at the same time or interweaving vocals.
Kim Dracula actually writes and records all the parts in his music! As far as I know the rest of the band are all just hired musicians for videos and touring
Anyone else feel like that ending shot was an homage to Joey Jordison's All Hope Is Gone mask? If not an homage, it's definitely a highly coincidental resemblance.
Eric... you need a bigger glass man.. it doesnt fill all 4 corners of my screen.. haha 🤪 BTW.. im hoping today you guys will drop the reaction to Falling in Reverse - Last Resort (Reimagined) This is a masterpiece again.. Ronnie is starting to grow into a real maestro..

Kyle "What if it doesn't?" I would laugh my ass off if Kim did a whole song scatting to jazz.
Riiight? 😄😄
I'd love that. lol
fun fact, the bass line during the beginning of the song is the ending bassline for Korns song Blind
I can never get enough of Kim Dracula 💜
As soon as I heard Kim’s new one, “Death Before Designer”, I was like, this was made for Kyle and Eric to react to 😅
As always, good stuff guys 🤘

Ok if this video was left to simply vocal talent, they beat any Grammy winner in the past 20 years. The quick change range was unbelievable
Kyle and Eric, to answer your question yes Kim can play all the instruments involved. As far as I'm aware Kim recorded all the tracks for the song themselves.
Awesome reaction! Kim’s high pitch screams reminded me a lot of King Diamond and/or Merciful Fate
Death Before Designer and Drown by Kim Dracula are definitely songs y'all need to react to.
Drown is one of my top 3 favorites right now.
This is like a PASSING OF THE TORCH from JD to KD

Kim is from Tasmania. Hence the tasmanian devil roll with the sound transition🎉
Kim Dracula and Sleep Token are the plot twist. one goes from jazz to metalcore and another one from progressive to funky.
It’s definitely Kim in the sense that it’s raw talent and not what you’re expecting, you two should listen to Hysterics.
Me: *Refreshing RUclips over and over to find a vid*
Rykerroad: "We got you bro".
I NEED you guys to react to ALL of their stuff immediately!!!! 🤘🔥
Kim Dracula is like Korn, Marilyn Manson, Corspe Husband, and ghostmane had a baby.
And Mr Bungle.
Eric never disappoints with his drinking apparatuses 😂
I was thinking that too 🤣
This, kids, is called a "gimmick"

Kim is a ‘1 man band’ they are incredible. Out of the lonely island of Tasmania, Australia
Omg have you guys reacted to Kim's song Killdozer yet ? I don't think there's an offical video, but it's dope and has mad mad korn vibes
That fact that JD hit up KD to collab is awesome!

As a former flute player (still have it and all of my music from school), I've been loving this song since it came out.

Yesss I was really hoping yall would react to this one
I love Jonathan Davis so much and he made that song for me!
Honestly surprised you guys didn't get Rob Halford vibes with the opening scream, definitely sounds Judas Priest inspired.
I totally thought... Halford! 😉
The intro on the standing bass is the outro to Korn's song "Blind"

The spinning in the beginning is actually referencing the Tasmanian Devil, since he’s from Tasmania and was given that moniker
