whats really scary is that if you choose not to kill yourself minutes later your other body is stuck in there with locked door on one side and abyss on the other side, and even if he manages to get out somehow he is locked in a facility with a crazy robot stalking its hallways, its a shame there is no mods exploring what could possibly happen with that other body of yours after you left.
There's nothing tho, once the power is out doors won't open at all anymore so he's stuck for eternity in there. Killing him is the best act of mercy. Sometimes killing is the best thing you can do to not make them suffer.

Except if there's one in there maybe. Edit: wait no, the launch of the ark took the energy from the ENTIRE COMPLEX. So both Simon are in the dark forever, RIP.

I can't believe you didn't die there, I took this part SOO slow, and only started running once I was in the hallway with the door closed. I didn't even know it was possible to outrun her with a limp 💀
"the game isn't scary" they said. I swear this game had two chases which made my heart drop, simply because the AI broke their usual pattern. Imagine if the whole game was like that, that would've been even more terrifying than Amnesia.
I hate how in Soma Catherine is so nonchalant about the monsters, like she doesn't care about Simon's health and completely disregards the dangers Simon is in. When playing I kinda felt like shes really twisted in some way... I never understood why she behaved like that, maybe shes really autistic? In any case, I'd rather die than spend a minute with her in the Ark.
Robot Girl considered scary? Cool, but she's so weak. For a neutral enemy that you can anger, she should be an insta kill, to punish players who don't understand how she works. Yet she only damages you a bit. What makes her worse is that you can run past her when she first appears, grab the battery and go on, pretty lame game design imo. Making an entire room based on a single enemy just for that enemy to be seen only twice and not be dangerous, and on top of that you can ignore its main mechanic by just running near it quickly.
Omicron is one of my favorite locations because of that. You have freedom and time to explore this facility to the fullest, and even though the girl won't really harm you if you know what to do, it doesn't make this episode any less tense or unnerving.
@@thedarkone9552 For new players I suppose, but it isn't punishing enough. Why are there monsters if they take 4 hits to kill you (and they teleport away when you get hit).
@@Xenorvya that's probably because the monster girl is impossible to avoid as she spawns right before of you. On the contrary other enemies such as proxies or fleshers knock you out immediately.
@@thedarkone9552 She is the easiest enemy to counter, all you've got to do is walk slowly, stop moving when she gets angry. It's not impossible, no matter if the objective is right next to her, you can even run past her.
