Benedict is trying to be something their not. To many horn holders for me. Stay composed and at least pretend like you've been there before. That overblowing doesn't work.
For your info they dont have horn holders everyone that got recruited actually knows how to play their horn benedict just went thru a transaction of getting a new director new students and all so they had to work eith what they have i bet you not even on any band at all

@@ericservance9759 i feel like you've never cranked up before. Dega's tone needs shaping up but they're getting better musicans as time goes on, and it's showing little by little. But them boys and girls are havin the time of their lives. I got to play in the Jukebox and that junk was fun as freak playing aggressive as hell. Dega's strong suit is power and they do that well. Their tone's shaping up and so is the quality of instrumentalists joining the program. They ain't perfect, shoot, no band is, but they're getting better, and I'd rather smack the freak out of a band from across the field and play over them, especially with the announcer being petty as piss, than "not playing louder than lovely" as some FAMU people i know would say. It's like racing, you either race aggressively and often times strategically with how much aggression you use or you drive timidly and get passed and lose. It's a risk either way. Going all out on all cylinders, or playing timidly. Not tellin Benedict to change styles, because EWC didn't change their style when they faced SU and they sounded great at that battle, i was there. I'm sayin don't try to crank up if your program us not known for crankin up. There's no switch you can flip for watts. Takes time, practicing aggressively and consistently doing that

Talladega Tubas and Bass Drums was fighting each other a few times. Scream is still a Favorite.
Benedict actually sounded good on that Scream, minus the trumpet presence.
I like Benedict's sound. TC loud but tonight it wasn't one band one sound. Still good though.
