The music you play on your videos runs through my head when I'm at work... I don't even know who any of the artists are, but, I hear them in my head. I'm a school cook and it just makes the day go by..we don't play music at work because the ceilings are to high and it just makes a terrible echo, plus all the sounds from the ovens and then the kids being kids makes music on top of it overwhelming. So, its nice to have these songs in my head.

Tamara, Winston seems like a big help to his Momma. Loved seeing him help you with your storage box.Best of luck to you on the garden. I have my herbs planted in the ground & a lot of mine have came back every year (each year they get bigger & fuller), but in time I have found that I need to replace them. I have never tried planting herbs from seeds. I have always got the plants themselves from a local greenhouse close to us that is very reasonable. So I really hope that you have great luck on your herbs from the seeds. Look forward to your next video & I enjoyed the longer video. Take care & God Bless to you & your Family.

I bought a patiowell deck box after another RUclipsr I watch had a sponsorship by them. I absolutely love it! We use it next to our mailbox to receive packages so delivery people don’t have to come down our driveway and our packages aren’t sitting in the weather on the side of the road. We loved it so much we ordered a second one that holds a bale of hay for our sheep. It keeps it dry and it lasts so much longer! Excellently made boxes for sure. Highly recommend!

I enjoyed your video with all the planting and putting together the deck box. That’s very handy for storing those outside items-it sure keeps the porch more tidy!
Our older daughter (she’s 41) came to visit us with her son (who is 9) over the weekend. While we were hanging out in the backyard she commented on our 2 huge pots that have weeds growing in them and said “Mom! You need to get a packet of wildflowers and plant the seeds in these pots so they will be pretty!” She’s right. I don’t like working in the yard, but perhaps I can rustle up the motivation to throw some seeds in those pots…😄
It’s so nice that Winston helped you out with the deck box and planting. You might awaken an inner gardener in him for the future…😉
I think planting is your thing - you looked so happy getting your hands in the dirt!
    ❤-Brenda

I love watching the joy on your face as you spend time with Winston & when you garden. You always look so content & happy. Keep up the amazing work, Tamara!!

Lemon balm is an awesome medicinal herb, but FYI it will take over that entire planter in probably a season or 2. It's in the mint family, and mint likes to spread. I've never known lavender to take over, but it does grow more like a shrub, so you're going to want something much bigger than that little planter, especially for 2 lavender plants. Gardening is such a fun and rewarding hobby. Good luck!!

    Hey
There lady😃. Glad your getting out and doing stuff , helps me to combat my depression. It’s a tough thing to deal with that’s for sure. I feel better when I’m doing stuff outside. Tamera, I learned that lavender doesn’t like fertilizer.. 🙄😳☹️. And of course I planted with potting soul that had fertilizer in it so if it doesn’t look well remove it from the pit and just put regular soil in in pot and see if that helps. I didn’t figure this out till mine died.. 😢. So I plan to just get them and plant Inoue native soil and try again with out amendments. But read up on the care of lavender for yourself just to verify. But that’s what I read. And heard. Everything looks great, hoping to get out soon. Being sick has really. Hampered my ability but wanting to do so soon! 😊. Blessings to you and yours!!

I've not had issues with my lavender spreading. Mostly just keeping it alive after the winter. So far one of my two have and I bought 2 more. The Lemon Balm would spread more, so putting it where you there will be good. Over time it can just fill it up. Like you, I'm trying to grow more herbs I went to a place we have here that has them and many medicinal products. I added Fever few, chamomile (I can never get it to grow from seed), lemon verbena, pineapple mint, 2 more lavender, and sweet woodruff. I already had lemon balm, chives, oregano, spearmint, and sage.

Sage can get really big. I have some sage i planted 5 years ago and its huge. You may want to put it in its own pot. I'm in zone 6b which means we get all 4 seasons plus below 0 winters. And it kerps growing and coming back. Which watching this video i know you already planted it. So, if you keep it trimmed & move it next year you will be ok. I have my herb garden in a raised bed, made out of cinder blocks, nothing fancy. But, my sage is in the ground near my back porch so its protected. My tyme, oregano, chive and marjoram also come back every year even in my zone, in the raised bed. Good luck with your herbs, i hope they all come up for you. There is nothing better than fresh herbs.
