Setting the Cutter Teeth-Crosscut Saw Maintenance

After cleaning the saw, jointing it, sharpening the cutter teeth then setting and swedging the Raker teeth, it is now time to set the cutter teeth. The tools needed are a sawset and spider gauge. These series of videos are meant to prepare you for the work and tools involved in maintaining a crosscut saw.

Cool saw setter becareful not to break a tooth looked like it took the whole tooth in the set ever think of putting a anvil on the back of it like the old saw sets ,made a saw stake myself I like to hammer the teeth to set made a spider almost the same but got a machine screw in the end to adjust it
