  • After cleaning the saw, jointing it, sharpening the cutter teeth then setting and swedging the Raker teeth, it is now time to set the cutter teeth. The tools needed are a sawset and spider gauge. These series of videos are meant to prepare you for the work and tools involved in maintaining a crosscut saw.

    Cool saw setter becareful not to break a tooth looked like it took the whole tooth in the set ever think of putting a anvil on the back of it like the old saw sets ,made a saw stake myself I like to hammer the teeth to set made a spider almost the same but got a machine screw in the end to adjust it
