Before the tide starts ripping there I would just free float a belly out there and as the tide picked up I started adding more lead in increments until I would use that same rig as yours…I like the addition of the swivel and tag end to hold the belly on better. I like the pot. I had a 5 gallon size round one I picked up from the late Skippy Gerdes from Skippys B&T in Bay Park … He was the best!

I grew up in that shop. Skippy was a second father to many of the local kids. He was do greatly missed when he passed. Till this day, I will never forget his funeral. It was like Elvis Presley died with a line of people that went down the block to give their last respects.

    Joe,
Thanks for the videos. Where did you get the chum cage from? I'm looking for a quality cage for bottom fishing and no one around here has larger ones like the one you show in video. I like the coated one also for easy cleaning.
    Thanks!

I believe in Long Island, outdoorsman in Rockville center or Bay Park Fishing Station in Oceanside
