This was great.. I appreciate you for not wasting first two minutes explaining what you are going to explain in this video like most tech youtubers do.. You were straight to the point and it fixed my issues. You've earned the like.
You're the best, man! All help, no filler. If every channel on RUclips made videos the way you do, the site would be a much better place to get help with computer issues.
If only all tutorials were like this. I just updated both PCs that I used this on and for some reason it stopped working when it worked before. You saved me hours of troubleshooting. Thank you.
Thanks for the detailed explanation! P.S. If you failed to install "Wireless Display", then "Turn off Set as metered connection" in your internet connection settings.
Great one and can confirm that it works! I have just connected Acer TravelMate P278-MG (using it as a secondary monitor that receives from the primary one) with HP Elitebook ( using it as a primary monitor that projects to the secondary one). Beware that Wireless Display Suported, Graphics Driver and Wi-Fi Driver must all show YES -> can check this by running command prompt and typing " netsh WLAN show drivers " . If you se NO, make it YES :) Good luck to all!
Thank you my laptop same problem so I see your vedio and solve the problem which that my laptop nice vedio they very helpful and good carry on working once more again thank you then from your vedio to resolve my laptop problem is well good
@@seemaverma2655sister just go to Make sure connected to wifi 1) Network and internet setting 2)status then properties 3) Metered connection , you must off this option and try again intalling wireless display...
Hi guys this helped me.. But just incase you're not able to download and it tells you installation failed. Turn your metered connect off From the Windows desktop, navigate: Start. Settings icon. ... From the left pane, select. Wi-Fi. . From the Wi-Fi section, select. Manage known networks. . Select the desired wireless network connection. Select. Properties. . Select the. Set as metered connection switch. to turn on or off . . Then you should be able to install.
Excellent bro. I don't know this will be worked out for me. Because when I tried to make connection of my PC screen to my smart tv, I got same issue. Then I concluded that it would be depend upon my mother board configuration . But you give me a little bit hope through this video. Hence I will try it. Thanks a lot I update my comment if my problem solved.
If all features are enabled and it still doesnt work, make sure both devices are connected to the same 5GHz Wi-Fi network... I spent almost a week trying to figure out why it sometimes works and sometimes doesnt when i realized my Wi-Fi router uses the same SSID for the 2.4GHz and 5Ghz bands. I only figured this out because my smart lights and cameras were having intermittent connectivity issues as well and they HAVE to be on the 2.4Ghz band. As it turns out my router was configured to switch between the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands automatically depending on network speeds and available bandwidth using the same SSID. I disabled that feature in the router, then gave the two bands different names. lights and cameras connected to the 2.4 GHZ band and PC's and phones connected to the 5Ghz band. no more connectivity issues and project to PC works every time.
