The invention that singlehandedly sparked the curiosity of many young engineers and tinkerers.
amazing
Yes.
I could play these all day and can't live without it when i was a kid 😂
I was able to understand them and repair them no matter what was the damage (like coil burning). Due to this, I could easily understand other motors like Induction motors and 3-phase synchronous motors.
@@maxwong6371 missing those days 😭😭
It takes us to the childhood, played lot with these motors, but never seen how they are made !!
The FAMOUS motor that every single one of us got to play with in childhood.
Even in my adulthood now, still play with it and earn money. 😅
This type of electric motor was invented in Japan in the 1950s by Kenichi Mabuchi, taking advantage of the then newly introduced ferrite permanent magnet material. I have read somewhere that about two-thirds of all the electric motors ever made are of this type.
First motor I ever pulled apart
Brushed DC permanent magnet motor are now being superseded by brushless. The electronics for commutation of brushless motor are coming to a price inflection point where the it add a better value to go with it.
I would not be surprised if, since this is pretty much mass produced.
You know what, i've been seeing a lot of mass produce videos, and honestly this makes me appreciate the things that has been made though they are small and cheap
Yeah, they're cheap because they're mass produced.
We sometimes forget that and only value expensive things. But all things have their inherent use and value besides mere economical value which is only based on demand versus production.
What a beautiful and amazing system.
Oh i remember pulling these things from toys and connecting them to 9v battery just to make them spin. I pretended it was car engine and i would just rev it like on a dyno. So much fun
Here I am waiting for this clip!
Very cool, so many processes for a small engine, very interesting.
I've seen such engines in remote control cars by the way !
Wonderful engineering work of mini motors. 🙏🏻
Man who invented automatic making process is a genius. Clever.

When toys broke, it's time to take out the motors.
1:20 Look the Giant Coils for small Motors 😂😅😊. By the way great Video pure Quality and i like this in your country No Compromise in Quality this was awesome. Thanks 😊
If Apple manufactured cars, this is the engine they would use. Amazing!

I always facinated about how this assembly mechine designed.🧐🧐🧐

1:50 how to clean wires from enamel before soldering?
I assume it is the "self-fluxing" type of enamel that melts away with heat. Disadvantage is that it cannot withstand high temperature during operation.
That’s cool.
💚💚 nice!
Nice video
Where is this factory?
Is it safe to trow naked rotors like there? It looks like it might increase the percentage of defects.
Pěkně to frčí.

Obrigado pelo vídeo
I' used this kind of motor in mini 4WD racing. Used to as the racing have been phased out due to lack of customers & racing members.
that was fun to watch :)

Amazing.

Who in the hell made this production line! i cant imagine it.
Amazing. The machines are so consistent and precise. Wonder how long it took to work out the procedure and perfect those machines.

I always wondered how vibrators got made🍑.
They take as much pounding in the factory as they will later on.

The Machine that makes Machines...
Then how the "machine that make machines" made?
What happen if one of the wire broken in the middle of the process?
They run the finished motors through a testing sorter.
run = pass, finished qc pass bin;
no run = fail, defect bin.

What's a model of these motors? For me looks like a modified FC-130 type.
i didnt see any testing
I guess failure is cheaper than quality assurance here.
I think this video does show a test as the final operation, where the shaft and the terminals are plugged into an apparatus. Speed within specification, current draw within specification and free of excessive ripple.... done, in less than a second.
How many USD cent is spend to produce a motor?
why to turn copper rotor ???
no ear pro cant mess up the out fit
Most of these will end up in vibrators.
Yes, massagers, sex vibrators, etc., very versatile
Hi l want video how to make helicopters control
