This is AMAZING! Thanks so much Novella. Two questions: 1) what’s your view on using adult products on toddler hair versus “kids” hair care products? And 2) what did you do to your daughter’s hair after she came home with the twist out (did you re-twist with product or wash)?
Thanks so much Andrea, I personally use a combination of adult and kids hair products for my children and don't have an issue with it personally. HOWEVER, I always advise that if you do use adult hair products to be selective and have some understanding of ingredients (I'm very selective when it comes to this and there are several things I look out for) For example if your child has allergies/skin sensitivities it's important to look out for ingredients that could potentially cause an allergy like fragrance, essential oils etc. Another example is going for adult hair products that have minimal ingredients list as it's easier to source out if your child has an irritation to it.
I go into a lot of detail about this in my membership and VIP group program as it's important.
To answer your next question, it depends on what week it is. If her hair is due a wash I'll wash her hair and if not I'll re moisturise and plait ready for the school week 👑

My daughter is 4yrs old and I have been really struggling with it for the longest. I can’t seem to find a product that works in her hair, it’s always dry frizzy puffy and breaking off, and with or without products her curl pattern is almost non existent. Any suggestions?

Hi there, I’ve recently come across your videos and my goodness they are great. My daughter hair was healthy and long up until aged 4, but I’ve lost almost half of her length which is down to a bit of neglect on my part. Back on the journey to long healthy hair.
Can I ask what bonnet/scarfs you sue as the ones I have previously purchased seem to have dye in them also she just doesn’t keep anything on at night. Any tips here?
I’m using a satin pillowcase but also need to have protection as she does toss and turn a lot at night.

So glad you're back on the journey for your daughter 🙌🏾. I use a Satin scarf bonnet by Accessoriesbyrita on Etsy, keep trying with her, when she takes her bonnet off put it back on her, she'll eventually get used to it 🙏🏾
