Bath and Bodyworks was such a delight for us. We're what we call 'stealth goth' because we have jobs that require us to be 'normal' at work and in public, but at home we love moons, stars, tarot stuff, and black cats. So, as I said, when we got so many awesome things at Bath and Bodyworks, we were delighted.
Their Halloween stuff is awesome! They outdid themselves this year. Also the B&BW employee clapping over the raven candle holder was so adorable. 🥰 They were legit excited. So cute.

TK Maxx (same company different name) recently opened in Australia. We have never had access to such high quality Halloween items such as their kitchenware and linens etc. I've been going twice a week to see what new items have arrived and spent a small fortune but it's so much better than the cheap plastic Halloween options we were only ever offered prior. I've packed up my old basic black linens/kitchenware and taken them to local op-shops (thrift).

My score this season has been an iron crow leg candle stick holder from Joann's (simple sculpt), and from Michael's, a light up canvas portrait of a shadowy witch in green surrounded by ravens, and a woorden sign that reads, "Parlor of magical curiosities. All strange things to be found here"
Watching this made my day after having to go to the dentist! I received that bat door knocker as a housewarming gift, its definitely great quality! I think I'm heading to Ross tomorrow! Your cheesy jokes are great, I love them. I was so happy to see Mayumi at the end of the video! She's so cute when she says, "Take a look!"

The flute glasses at the TJMAXX are an antique brass, not bronze. It's a brass plating that has a second black oxide plating over it. The black oxide is then given a light buff so that only the recessed sections remain black with the expossed brass having a dull aged look to it. Now given your taste for fine metal pieces, you might want to look into plating options in your area. A black oxide finish with an enamel bake over it creates a robust scratch resistant glossy black that I think you would appreciate.
The martini glasses would be great for shrimp cocktail. I wish I could beam myself into these stores so I could shop for my home and beam myself back to my country. I live too far from the big stores and the basic dollar store here does not carry anything like what I would allow past my threshold. Amazon helps if you do not mind the hefty prices, which are completely unlike the prices there. Not complaining though I love my country and the island I live on is heavenly . Have a wonderful day everyone !!

Halloween decor seems to be back in a big way this year! Seems the "plague" put a damper on it over the past couple of years, but it's back with a vengeance! I've had to restrain myself to keep from going broke! 💀
I had actually been to that home goods this month and wow you have a much better eye for spotting stuff - I was just overwhelmed with all the Halloween scattered all around the store!
Did a Michaels haul last month and ended up getting the 16” spiderweb wall hanging and the black glass hanging cauldrons. Though somehow the spiderweb has become my sock drying rack. Ah! I need to go out to more Halloween shopping!

I first discovered the metal bat door knocker 3 years ago and put it in my door. I haven't seen it since but discovered it again this year so bought a second one. They're scarce!
If you make a spooky salad, use dark ingredients! Like purple cabbage, instead of lettuce, and heritage black tomatoes! (They exist and I've heard they are tasty!) And a nice dark balsamic vinegar!

I love that haunted house towel and the raven candle holder, and the candelabra.
I like the pastel goth look. The paler colors really appeal to a cuter spookfan. Black on black is fine, but it plays havoc with depth perception.
