Asia dominates the biggest mall in the world. And all of these malls come from developing countries like China, Iran, Philippines, Thailand and Malaysia. China gdp per capita is 12k plus, Iran-4k plus, Philippines-4k plus, Thailand-7k plus, Malaysia-13k plus. In these countries its considered an ordinary mall if the GFA is only 80,000-100,000 square meters.
Brother research better. A mall of 22000 sqm can't be on this list. In my country even where we have small population, 22000 sqm is a shopping centre not mall. The largest mall in Namibia is 64000sqm in Windhoek. There are 3 others in city at 50,000 and 55000 sqm respectively.
