Garry's mod Hamachi server tutorial (Easy) - Simoncool38

This is a video that shows how easy it is to make a server with hamachi in Gmod.

*Please note that Hamachi is not perfect at all, and I know that many people have problems connecting over hamachi. Another way to create a server is to portforward, but can be very difficult. This guide is just to show how I come around to play with my friends on my own servers. -TY for your understanding.*

IF IT DOSSENT WORK:
-Be sure to turn off your firewall
-Try reboot your computer
-Be sure the "Local server" box is UNticked like showed in the video.
-Try reinstalling hamachi

Pretty good tutorial overall, however why would you need Hamachi for GMod as it already has a properly working multiplayer?

Because you can't make your own server that other can join without hamachi. Only if you have second program that can run your server like SDK, but its much easier to use hamachi like showed in the video :)

Aha. I normally just play on the already set up multiplayer servers, but makes sense!
