Hi Dwyrin. I liked the beginning of the video with the numbered squares and advice where to play. There are often one or two moments around move 30 or 40 in nearly all my games where my opponent has given me sente and it's time to look at the board as a whole (not just local corner fights) and figure out what is the best move. I find this is the major difference between kyu's and dans. Dans choose the better moves in these situations. The game you showed had this moment at 8:38. You could a) make a base in the corner (which you did) or b) extend the cutting stone (which you said was too early) or c) close up the top or maybe start the pushing contest with P14 or d) cap at P10 as white's bottom right group or e) something else that better players find. Getting the pros and cons of each option from a stronger player like you would be a valuable insight for me (stuck on 1kyu for a year). I feel such insights and giving your listeners some ideas about structure for the upcoming midgame phase would be great content. Cheers. Conan

Okay, spooky background voice in one video is weird, but in two videos (so far), and I can only assume your Halloween spirit is alive and well! 3. I really liked how in this game you didn't kill any large group of your opponent, and still won. I have watched a lot of basics videos, but this one seemed like mistakes were made and the opponent lived. However, it made no difference to the win/loss status of the game, which hits home more for me about how well the basics work.
What a day for you, a little thing 38:30 there are some background sounds like from a TV or something. very quiet but made it in somehow. Just mentioning for possible improvement if there was some false configured.
