I only remember Rick Moranis from Second City Tv. I have great respect for his decision to put his children first and hope that his new ventures are a success. Thank you Rick for being a father first. 😊
How do you follow being in an iconic movie or TV show? Imagine finding a peak so early on, and going back to a more traditional life. Those are not always bad ideas, especially if it was a very brief stint. Alot of actors have trouble finding roles, nothing wrong with being a regular person.
@thefamouspeopleus It would depend on the actor, the age, and mental health. Doing something once, easy to leave, having it your whole life, depends on alot of things. If it was a once only, I think it would be much easier. Especially if you have a good support system. Look at examples from child stardom, especially if the parents become accustomed to a certain life style. If you are young, and the breadwinner for the entire family, that would be much harder.
You're right, there's absolutely nothing wrong with 9 to 5 work! It can be really fulfilling. What do you think makes a balance between fame and a normal life ideal for some celebrities?
I saw an interview with Alan Thicke and from what I remember he told Cameron to take this newfound life you have and create something. Quite frankly, I think and feel no Hollywood actor, no matter how much he’s beloved should have the ability to have producers fire actors fired, Julie McCullough for posing in Playboy magazine, which was before she was on “Growing Pains” and Matthew Perry because Cameron thought Perry was a demon. I applaud his religious convictions and his morality, but that didn’t give him the right to have people fired. I’m sorry this was long.
It’s definitely interesting to see how different actors have navigated their careers. Do you think some celebrities just become difficult to work with over time?

Do you think more actors should follow that example of prioritizing family over fame?

What is wrong working 9 to 5 .....? ... title is dumb...
I see your point! What would you have expected from a title that better reflects her journey?
I 💯% agree with you.
Oh, you are just soaking in negativity. Nothing wrong with 9 to 5.

Kirk Cameron didn't quit acting. He is just to annoying to work with.

@@ninademci1500 Do you think celebrities' personal beliefs should influence their professional decisions in such a way?
