USA houses have much larger living areas; in England I'm like drawing my guardian circle around the dogs food bowl, watching out for the dining table chairs, washing basket and tumble dryer.
It's cuz of how small the UK is, I still can't believe 67 million people live on this little island, plus the fact for some reason everyone is reluctant to build modern houses and are living in old ancient 100 disgusting connected bungalows. I can't stand it here
I have never been. Believe me there are some small houses out here, but also way bigger houses. My first house was really small this is my third house. I have gone bigger with each move. ☺️
I think that's how it should be done ;start with a foot on the ladder in the housing market and work your way up!
Not helped over here by housing prices; A modest 3 bedroom semi detached is probably the equivalent of $500,000. People tend to stay put rather than upsize.

My mum lives west london and has a lot of space in her four bedroom property. I live in the countryside and have a lot of space. Fiances mum house also a four bedroom has a lot of space to so so depends.

When I first played this I screamed my heart out I still have a scar from that.. but you get used to it sorta lol
My boss got the oculus and while I’ve seen many of these videos with the plank and people freaking out...I never believed any of them. But then I tried it. I was completely amazed by the immersiveness of the VR.
And the plank scared the shit out of me! The older I get the more afraid of heights I become and it felt VERY real. If you’ve never tried VR like this, make it a priority. It’s pretty damn amazing.
I just bought one for my day for Father's Day
I've watched so many videos and had so many good laughs. I decided to buy the game and try it out. I literally cannot walk out on the plank. I know I'm in my kitchen but I've tried it for about a week straight and I still can't gain the courage to step forward. I never thought I would be one of those people.

This is one game I will never have anyone else play. I have seen too many videos of people jumping from the plank and faceplanting. That's just asking for a broken headset.

OMG ROFL that was hilarious. I'm 61 years old I'm getting myself an Oculus Quest 2, it's arriving today. Yesterday I got the carry case and the elite head strap and an aftermarket a face pad bundle. OMG I can't wait. My bestie who lives across the country in Tennessee said she had been toying with getting one and I said well I'm definitely getting one so we can watch movies in a theater together if you get one and I pretty much think she's sold 😆

Same I’ve had VR since day 1 Psvr the quest is insane more like a fun experience but I don’t get scared or nothing through realism most of the time I’m aware I’m just wearing a headset kinda sad cuz I want that immersion back but hopefully the 120hz update fixes it

TIP: Always use an 'actual' plank to get the funniest results from watching your friends play 👍
... and stand close behind the guy saying, "We are just going to stay in this elevator". Having voices coming from the other side of the plank eases it a lot.

This is coming from a guy who grew up with modern tech, and my first console is the ps2, but still. I have no clue how people forget that they’re in real life. It’s like when people put the headset on, they are actually IN the world. I mean, I get immersed, but still, subconsiously, i know its not real. People somehow think that they’re gunna jump off the plank and ACTUALLY fall, but then they crash into a tv or something
For the first few times it feels real, but after playing VR for nearly 6 years it takes a lot to immerse me.

For people who haven't tried VR and don't quit get yet, just imagine for a moment how immersive and convincing and compelling it must be to elicit this kind of reaction....
And this app is child's play compared to some of the really amazing stuff available for VR, especially if you get onto the more powerful console and PC VR systems.

A six year old....???!!!?! are you out of your mind? The Oculus Quest 2 is for people who are AT LEAST 13 or older... we don't want immature kids on this platform.. there are already too many. Also the vr headset might cause motor skills issues for you g kids which is not a good thing. I wouldn't expose and spoil little kids to this much stuff.
This is my wife in game mode WITH a controller... I can't wait to watch her play her new quest 2. Does it work outdoors... She is a runner! 😁
It's wireless but requires a WiFi Connection, so have her carry a phone with a hotspot on.
I would really advise not taking it outdoors, if you do then be VERY careful with it. Direct sunlight can permanently damage the lenses if you expose them for too long.
Real world obstacles won't be visible in VR, y'know?

Yeah it is definitly not an easy game for people with fears of heights, but its really fun. You should at least give it a try.
Btw if you didn’t know and might want to watch the casting on a bigger screen, you can watch and cast from your laptop and connect your laptop to the tv with an hdmi. Imo the casting works better from a laptop and the bigger screen to watch is worth it
