Floodgates and mine are a necessary evil. With BS combo decks putting boards only power spells can break(like DRUM, droplets, etc.) is ridiculous. I am thinking on switching to MTG honestly.

Maxx c addressing combo decks? I exclusively go second to break combo boards these days and I suffer from maxx c used in tandem with combo boards
@@dhanyl2725 It's just like pick your poison nowadays; get mystic mined with floodgates and not able to play or get maxx "c"'d in first turn just to get obliterated in opponent's turn. Here in OCG, Maxx C is not that bad, I mean there's multiple ways to deal with it like Designator, Ash and Called by the grave so yeah.

The worst thing about mystic mine player in comp play is that they activate it like its actually a complicated play. at 1:48 that man looks like he had to play through 3 handtraps and 4 negates lol

So what does Mystic Mine do? It lets you draw two cards or something?
It's pretty much a floodgate, your opponent can't activate monster effects or declare an attack if they control more monsters than you. The effect applies both ways, you also can't activate/attack if you control more monsters, but that never happens since you can break their boards before mystic mine goes against you.
this is just a Mine compilation with extra steps.
