Finally a good tutorial for thin hair! I had to stop using tapes because I had bleached it and it melted off/ my ends. So my hair is short and thin but this I'd a great way to put them in without stressing the edges out. The hair around my face is so broken and thin. Lol

Thank you so much! I have fine thin hair as well, and never thought I could rock a style like this before. I have had a horrible experience with a sew in done on me, and lace front glue just isn't for me. My clip ins have been better, but definitely not as flat and seamless. Can't wait to try.
Also, can you wash your hair without removing the tape-ins? I use minoxidil daily and would worry about build-up.

Hey Chaka, do you reuse your tape ins (purchase refill tape), or replace them after each use?
I love your videos we have the same problem very thin edges. I hate my hair because of that but I love your videos. The way you do your hair to cover your edges. Some people say Jamaican castor oil works.

Thanks for watching! They won’t fall out but it may be harder to maintain if your hair reverts. It will get tingled or just won’t blend. Make sure you pick a texture that is similar to your natural texture.
I love it… I have super thick hair and it’s 18 inch long I just want highlights so idk if I should buy just the highlights or also black and highlights

Thanks for watching! Tape ins are probably not the best option bc your real hair is out and it will likely revert to your natural texture if it’s not a perfect match.

What do the quaintly of this hair like? Does it matter up?
The quality is just okay. I think the black hair without the color is a little softer. Still really pretty just not my favorite for long term but it’s cool if you wanna try something different. No, it doesn’t mat up or tangle.

What are your pros and cons of the tape ins on thin hair? Also, the take down process?
Honestly, love both for different reasons. I love how natural and versatile they both are. I’m unable to sleep in clip ins and I have to apply them every time I want to achieve a length butttt it’s also nice to get to my scalp for washes and conditioning. Tape ins are great, natural looking and versatile. More maintenance and I’m unable to apply oils or moisture to my scalp but they are comfortable to sleep in.
New here,I to all my life suffered with embarrassing bald sides,I have never done on hair,,no way can do full head, just want to do ponytail with Ideas of covering sides.

I loved this video. So much so that I went and got the same exact tape ins and had a professional install them. The second I left the salon chair the tapes started slipping out. As I was just running my fingers through my hair. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. I contacted Ywigs hopefully I can get a new batch or a refund.

Heyyy! I actually haven’t reused them yet. I have extra adhesive. I plan to try it but I haven’t gotten around to it yet bc I’ve been experimenting with different textures/colors.
@@ChakaStarkes here with this same question! What brand are you using for adhesive? Is it a tape refill or glue?
