As a brand you are describing SEAT but CUPRA is a breakaway from SEAT which apparently will in future stop production. CUPRA is a brand in its own right & in terms of where it sits is definitely above SEAT. It’s more of a premium sports brand & in terms of where it should sit it definitely has earned the credentials in its brief but yet successful period as a stand alone brand to rub shoulders with both VW & AUDI.
