Yaesu FTA-850L: LAX: PLANE-SPOTTING

I fly to LAX frequently; and, I purposely get to LAX four hours before my flight; so, I can sit at my window-seat. I turn on my Yaesu FTA-850L, and I listen to the aviation comms at LAX; and, I try to spot the planes that are arriving and departing from LAX. I finally got the North Arrival down after meandering through LAX’s various window spots.
I can listen for hours. For me, this is like sitting on a park-bench eating a mortadella/provolone cheese sandwich on a hard-roll with a can of San Pelligrino Orange Soda and a bag of crisps. I can spend hours listening and spotting.
