- All of Demon Slayers Infinity Castle Explained - Hey everyone Diavolo here and in todays video we go over the ENTIRE Story Of Demon Slayers Final Arc, The Infinity Castle Arc, Demon Slayer Final Season Explained, Kimetsu No Yaiba Series Recap.
Hey everyone in todays video we go over the amazing story that is Demon Slayers/Kimetsu No Yaiba's Infinity Castle, I go through almost every single chapter in this entire arc and retell the exact story. THIS ARC IS mental and is actually only the first part to the final arc, As the name suggests, this battle takes place inside Nakime's dimensional fortress best known as the Infinity Fortress/Castle. We have all of the MAJOR battles happen throughout this arc from Akaza vs Giyu & Tanjiro to Muichiro, Genya, Gyomei & Sanemi! Plus literally a bunch more. I really loved the outcome with Genya and Sanemi especially as someone who has a younger brother it hit super duper hard.

Giyu deserves some damn respect man. He's not the strongest of pillars, but dude went toe to toe with akaza and survived multiple attacks against the demon king himself with a broken blade. And even then he stills survived to the end with one arm and a random slayers blade still fending off muzan. Underrated hashira for sure.
Bro I agree my fav hashira are, sanemi, giyu and tengen. Like we don't get heaps of info 9n the 3 of them but the stuff we do get is really damn good. Like sanemi and his brother really hit home to me

We tend to overlook the fact that Murata and the others got exponentially stronger after the Hashira Training Arc to the point of being able to defeat demons at Lower Moon level
yea murata was strong enough to go evenly against a few lower moon level demons at once, but the main 3 are like 80% Hashira strength at that point.

All the fights in this arc are so epic. Kokushibo wrecked Muichiro easily and Giyu would’ve been totally screwed if Akaza didn’t get back his memories. I promise you once these fights get animated they will destroy the internet.

@Alfonzo Quiroz Shinjuro yes, Urokodaki yes but not in a physical/fighting way as far as I remember. He’s with Nezuko during a majority of this arc from what I remember. It’s been a while though.

When you realize that muzan turned every demon he ever created into hundreds of lower moons it makes the unamed swordsmen of the corps that more cool. The training really did work because every demon in the castle is lower rank or higher in power

@@brodyestes2376 yes thats the exact reason the attacks stopped. He made lots of lower moons to prepare to take out the demon slayers and absorb nezuko. The demon slayers knew something was up so the hashira training took place.
Infinity castle arc is my literally my favorite arc. I can’t wait till it will get animated

Every fight was God like in this arc, but Kokushibo was on another level. That guy was flexing on poor Muichiro, man!
Also, Akaza is a beast. He could have ended Giyu right there if not for his precious memories.
Douma too would have ended 2 hashira minimum if he wouldn’t have been poisoned, wanted to see more of douma , he was very powerful.

The fact that Zenitsu's Arc is the most emotional and heartbreaking fight. It is so surprising as Zenitsu is always crying in a funny way, Tanjiro usually has the most emotional fights.
Haters always say demon slayer has no story, but this video being 2hrs long just says otherwise
It’s a whole manga arc bro. Most arcs in manga would take this long. And this is actually the ONLY arc in demon slayer that has this much back story and that’s because when the upper moons die it does a brief back story!

I will agree that Demon slayer does not have a very complex or deep plot, but to call the show overrated or mediocre is just asinine. The mangaka put so much subtlety in the characters and themes of the show and did it without ever feeling too preachy. Hell most people don't even know that most characters' names in the show have double/deeper meanings. As for the "sad" backstories we get when demons get killed. I personally don't think of it as just a way for us to feel sympathy of to justify their actions, but to remind us that Muzan may be the one who creates demons, but they're born out of the Hate, Greed, and Desperation of humanity. This is why Demon slayer is one my favorite anime.
yeah ahahhahaha its one of the biggest videos, if not the biggest ive ever done. Honestly I under estimated how long it wouldve taken to edit it. One of the biggest projects ill ever do for sure. But there are definatly some crazier arcs out there in other animes so I cant wait to get into those stories!
Kny is not mid. In fact, it's great imo and I thoroughly enjoy it. But tbh it's riddled with cliches (at least up to the point the anime has continued) and has some very badly placed comedy. These are its only weak points. Otherwise, it's great.

Selfless state tanjiro is a version of tanjiro that I'm extremely excited and hyped to see in the anime..
The fight between him and giyu vs akaza is one of my favorites in this story..the battle itself..the abilities that the selfless state gives to the user as well as akaza's tragic past made this such a mentally and physically powerful fight..
So, I have got a question. I'm a bit confused about Tanjiro's selfless state. In the recent fight between Daki and Tanjiro when he goes all serious and everything, is that somewhat similar to what his selfless state against Akaza would look like? Or will it be something completely different cuz it was cool watching Tanjiro just beating the crap out of an Upper Moon Six.
@@kaanssar If understood right its basically hiding your battle spirit and entering new plane of existence, higher territory. Its same thing which Yoriichi was only one to be naturally born with. I heard comparison with Ultra Instinct of Kimetsu no Yaiba. So thats what it is and it also gaves rentgen eyes. It looked very cool and interesting in manga ufotable is gonna have blast with it.

I really hope more fans appreciate Yorichi for his kindness, selflessness and love for his fellow man instead of just for his strength. His story is so sad but inspiring.

I never really cared if an anime doesn’t have a deep plot but Demon Slayer gives me a good feeling when I watch it or read the manga. It’s mainly due to good character backstories and the details the author puts into each and every character in the series.

It bothers me a lot that nobody was there to save Tamayo, even when she was pleading for somebody (@30:17) to save her. She died alone and it troubles me. No good person should die like that...😟

I mean she did murder innocent people and enjoyed it while eating them. But yeah if it wasn't for her all the characters in the demon slayer corps would have been totally annihilated.
That’s really sad, she is such a good character. She’s came up with the medicine to turn demons back into humans, her and the Insect Hashira came up with the complicated poison that weakens Muzan also was the one who sacrificed herself to get the poison into Muzan’s body. She had second thoughts about the sacrificing herself part which is normal I would believe.
Tamayo was ready to die. She'd been waiting for Muzan to meet his end. The fact that she had a hand in his pathetic death was bitter sweet. Shinobu and Tamayo set up the win. Everyone else needed to clean house of the moons and finally eliminate Muzan.

I pity Kokushibo he was pretty much a Shonen protagonist who wanted to be the strongest but end up being monster and die alone never being remembered or left a legacy compared to his brother Yorrichi. It a sad fate if only Kokushibo had love himself more and appreciate what he had and not compare himself to Yorrichi someone should had tell him something like “Maybe the Sun and Moon are always separated from each other,but in the end they both shared the same Sky one Sky,one destiny.”

Honestly if Kokushibo had been content with being the second best swordsman in the world Upper Moon One would not have existed. The drive to be number one is a tragic one, why must pride drive one to be the absolute best when you are already above most others in your field?

@@notyourdad9548 I'd challenge you to support that claim. Vegeta was a bad guy turned good guy who had a reversion to his old ways and eventually redeemed himself. Kokushibo did not start out as a villain, and even when he became a demon I doubt he saw himself as a villain. Vegeta knew he was evil. Kokushibo was in denial until the end that he had become a monster. The only common trait the two share is that they betrayed their allies in pursuit of power.
Just got done reading this arc it’s a shame but I personally wished demon slayer was longer because everyone had so much potential I still love demon slayer

@@codafett that’s what I’m saying the reason I like the mugen train arc entertainment district arc and the swordsman village arc his because Rengoku Uzui Mitsuri and Muichiro got to shine. I personally would’ve loved if Tomioka Sanemi and the rest of the hash would’ve loved there own personal arcs with Tanjiro.

Man, It sucks we didnt get to see Tengen & Rengoku in this all out war, They definitely deserved to be in this fight as well... Rengoku could have helped giyu & tanjiro vs Akaza... And with Tengen being the fastest hashira & having a high battle IQ due to his martial arts & shinobi background he could have been helping so much especially with his unique fighting style & extra weapons he had like kunai's & bombs, he could have joined the fight against upper 1 to give Gyomei & Sanemi enough time to study him & plan something out, Or even having Tengen help Shinobu would have been great to see, I mean She was fast enough to land hits on him, but wasnt physically strong enough to behead him & since Tengen is faster & stronger, they could have finished that fight sooner together..

Demon Slayer is so amazing.
1.Simple story. Not too complex ideologies.
2.More realistic protagonist. For example Tanjiro decides to convert Nezuko back to human and that's why he became a demon slayer. It's not like "Demon killed my family and now I am gonna kill them all".
3.Teamwork. It's not like other typical shonen for example Tanjiro awakens power and kill all demons single handedly. Everyone had their role and everyone played it very well.
4.The bonds. We can see, how strong the bond is between Tanjiro, Nezuko and their family. Not only that every character in this series shares some kind of bond with someone, even demons themselves also.
5.The emotions. We can somehow relate the emotions of characters because characters of Demon slayer are mature and at the same time emotional.
These reasons, in my opinion, make Demon Slayer different from other shows/ stories.

I just loved giyu and gyomei koku fight.
I loved how giyu just tanked all of akazas attacks and still fought muzan and DKT. Insane stamina. If akaza didn't had predicting opponents attacks or if giyu had fought koku he would have dealt massive damge and his defense is too good.
So far my fav character is Giyu.
I am sorry but giyu is not even close to gyomei's level and koku is leagues above akaza gyomei is the only slayer that can withhold koku for as long as he did koku also stated that he was the strongest warrior he had faced in 3 hundred years that puts him above akaza cuz akaza is 200 year old and thats before gyomei was marked but giyus endurance is still increadible

It's kinda sad that we only see strongest pillars fight in the last battle. Gyomei and Sanemi might the most badass of them all and we got almost nothing on them
I totally agree. I would have loved to see those two and Iguro get more spotlight. It felt like we didn't get enough of them which is a shame cuz they have some of my favorite breathing styles
@@bizzyb3231 Iguro totally kicked butt along with Tanjiro against the aging Muzan. Gyomei and Sanemi were there until the end as well.
I would’ve loved if the series had a few more arcs prior to the infinity castle arc to show more of Gyomei, Sanemi, and Iguro.

@@Fearienify nah it had meanings, it reflects what the hinokami kagura is about, tanjiros father dances from dawn til morning whenever he does the dance, it's like a reflection of tanjiro holding muzan from dawn to morning while doing all the sun breathing forms simultaneously
I hope you know I've watched this multiple times especially when I have no idea what to watch. Your narration is fantastic. I greatly appreciate your narration especially since I dont have the time to read all these stories.

I really love that in Demon Slayer, every character gets to shine. It's not just the protagonist's burden to get shit done.
One of the best and most intense arc in any shounen. Kokushibou, Douma and Akaza were unholy trio of villains. Fights were amazing, emotional, unpredictable and with high stakes. People dying left and right. My favourite arc of the series. And its fascinating that this was done in mainstream shounen, because the chills I got in this arc I experienced only in Jojo or Chainsawmen where people also were dying left and right. Special place in my heart forever.
I don't understand why some people call Demon slayer "overrated" or "Mediocre". Demon slayer is different from the other anime released nowadays. This anime has a traditional theme which is very interesting, the author really put some details even in the characters' names. Kudos to Gotouge-sensei!

@@harina7646 I like that it keeps it simple. Why over complicate it. It tells a decent story with good characters that range in personality. Has good villains in an interesting story. Any story that's middle of the pack can be elevated to the extremes by simply having good execution. And id say they execute this manga and anime very well. They also don't overbloat it by keeping it going for 25+ years and needing to have 700+ episodes.
Tanjiro has a knack for restoring memories. Rui, Gyutaro, Muichiro, now Akaza.
I would say it’s because he thinks of them as humans and feels remorse for them as he kill’s them, they see in him their humanity being restored.
all of demon can restore their memories after they got killed.
the muichiro one is just remember his dad because he look like tanjiro.
Yoriichi and Michikatsu's ( Michikatsu is Kokushibou's name before he became a demon ) is my favourite part of the story by far as I can relate to both characters and they are so well written . Each has what the other lacks and is a complete mirror of the other.
Michikatsu (The Moon)
Michikatsu wishes to be the most powerful, to the point where he abandons everything for this (including his family, the thing Yoriichi desires the most). His sacrifice is never rewarded by the gods and he watches as his brother who gave up nothing to achieve this, outclasses him in every regard of strength. Yoriichi is born with everything Michikatsu desires and is a constant living reminder of his insufficiencies. The resentment and powerlessness Michikatsu feels in the inability to achieve the peerless strength he desires is honestly very human and his hate for his brother, while unjustified, is understandable and relatable if you've ever met a prodigy in an area you've ever wished to excel in but weren't able to. He represents the moon in the relationship as it is not only his breath style, but he possesses mostly darker qualities (seriousness, hate, anger, jealously etc). He is like a shadow (in the Jungian sense), possessing all the darker repressed emotions of the two brothers.
Yoriichi (The Sun)
All Yoriichi wanted was a family to protect and love. He had no grand visions for life, just wanted to be free and spend time with his wife and child, his family (noticed that Michikatsu sacrificed what Yoriichi wanted the most to try to obtain what he had the most, power) and he is very much relatable in that way. There's something very noble about wanting to get away from all the hustle and bustle of life and settle down and focus on what truly matters at the end of the day, your family. And even though Yoriichi possessed all this strength, what was it even for? He wasn't there to protect the thing that mattered the most to him (his family) and even though he overpowered Muzan, his very sun-like qualities (kindness, calmness, an overall loving nature) are what allowed him to escape. Had Yoriichi been darker or more "moon-like" like Michikatsu, Muzan would have died on the spot. And it is lacking this darker quality that caused Yoriichi to fail, a failure which haunted him for all his life.
To top this all off, even their breaths are the mirrors of each other with Yoriichi possessing the Sun and Michikatsu the moon. It's truly tragic to see neither character obtain what they both wanted in life.
"The ugliness of not admitting defeat even though they took my head, chopped me up and crushed me. Living in disgrace. Have I lived hundreds of years for this? Was I so afraid of defeat that I became a monster? Did I want to be strong even if it meant eating people? Did I become this miserable creature because I didn't want to die? No. Yoriichi... I just wanted to be you." ~ Kokushibou

For all my naruto shippuden fans I love how muichiro being a descendant of Kokushibo is a reference to sasuke being a descendant of Madara Uchiha and when Kokushibo pinned him against the wall it was forsure a direct reference to when Madara had sasuke pinned up in the air with his own blade just as Kokushibo used Tokitos blade against him. Great addition on the mangaka🤩

Bro the demon slayer series hits hard for me. I usually used to hate anime a lot but after my friends told me about demon slayer i watched it form the mugen train arc and it hit me. It is a simple fast moving anime and cant wait to see the rest of the arc's animated, when he was explaining it i got goosebumps "kind of ". Well done explaining the whole manga and i love the efforts put inot this vids. Once angain well done 👍 ✅

while many people prefer the akaza’s and Kokoshibo’s fight this one is by far my favorite it told a good revenge story & made Kanao from generic love interest to top tier character her dynamic with inosuke was fun to see

Kokshibo was really strong going against what I'd say are the 2 strongest hashira and the hashira with the strongest bloodline and most potential and Genya but it really puts into to contrast on how strong yoiurichi was almost killing Kokshibo in two shots imagine if he faced all the moons and muzan in 1 night I'd say it would be a close fight !
He would win most probably yoriichi is just too good like a god almost

This is easily my Favorite series on RUclips I’ve already read the manga but with diavolo being such a great narrator it’s really allowing me to experience the story over like it’s my first time reading it can’t wait for the next series whether it be chainsaw man or anything else you decide
