    kohinoor curry sauce is nicer, it has no acidity regulator, so no vinigar after-taste. Its made in India with all natural ingredients. Its dear at £2 per pack, but worth it for me.

    Indi Grand curry sauces from Home Bargains are the best ready made curry sauces I've tasted and I've tasted loads over the years. Second only to an Indian takeaway.
    However *they* are in black pouches that look slightly bigger than these.

    Glad you put this video up Keith, this sauce is my favourite from this range, used to get in HomeBargains, but they've stopped that particular one. They still do some of the others though including Vindaloo, Saag Masala (my other favourites), Korma, Tandoori, Murg Makhani, Balti, Butter chicken and Tikka masala. Nipped to one of the Aldi's in Stafford after work today and all they had got was.....the chennai Madras (result......stocked up n bought 10 of em , had 1 for dinner...LOVELY). Love the vids mate, keep up the good work.

    like it , ive recently found currys that are exactly the same as indian takeaways ,would love you to review these they are from "East at home" ,you can either by the base sauce and make them from scratch ( love to see you do this) or buy ready made sauce and add meat ,dont need to go to a takeaway ever again they are that good

    Balti is not a recipe it is the dish it is cooked in and can be any recipe and any heat you prefer, it is any meat and ingredients you include to make a curry and was named from the original immigrants from India that could not bring their wives. Historical note.

    I've tried every curry sauce known to man Keith, even those that claim to be made by restaurants and none taste anything like they are from an Indian restaurant or take away, so now I just order from my favourite places. At the end of the day when you add up the costs of the ingredients and the gas/electric plus your time and effort, the difference is negligible. Love your videos anyway.

      @asseyez-vous6492 7 месяцев назад +2

      I agree. I completely dislike jarred sauces. Though, if you stock up on the basic ingrediants, it’s easy to make a curry at home. The spices can be bought very cheaply from an Indian store and will last you ages if stored correctly. They also sell yoghurt and tinned tomatoes really cheaply as a rule, which are used a lot in Indian curries as a base.
