When I went to Ibiza, I hired one of these abarth 500 as it was one of the cheapest options. I used to hate them but after I drove it, it was so much fun and it would be such a fun daily.
They’re just a little quirky, unlike a fiesta ST for example. Great little runaround, although not if you live near speed bumps....
I like the videos where you check out new and interesting cars. Not that your Z4 or your 7 series wasnt good. They were amazing but it's nice to switch it up instead. Keep it up! More cars the better ☺️
I must say, I am actually a fan of that Abarth! I’ve never really thought about Abarths until this video, and they actually seem pretty decent little things to race around in.

My favorite car. Do you think there will ever be any Abarth 500e and/or 595e?
One of my neighbours got the 595 Turismo in black and white two tone - I have thought to myself that the 595s are actually pretty decent looking, a lot better than the 500s. Even better in black and gold though, I love it personally.

Seriously overdue rethink.!even the 2021 EVs look pretty same. It’s been in production around 14 years now and with so many beat up unloved pre 2010 models out there being driven round I think it dilutes the style and reputation of a new one considerably.

Yeah it had a slow puncture annoyingly (had a bike pump in the boot) :)
Thought the rear left tire was flat on some of those static shots, realised it was the camber of the road making it look a little sunken
Nice video Joel. I bet its been a massive relief for your wallet to run compared to your 7 series. 😂 the amputee comment though, brilliant lol. I think the colour scheme of the black and gold works really well. I've not driven an abarth but heard they are fun to drive.

Nice Video. Just one question why do you like the normal drivers display more than the sports one? I really prefer the driver display in sports mode. It’s easier to see when to shift and how hot the cooling liquid is. And most important you don’t See you fuel consumption.😂😂

I think the wheels compliment the car. If you are to put them on a Bentley or fast back Audi then the would look ridiculous. It's all relative and according to taste.

The quality just makes it a lesser desirable car than the competitors. The components just feel tacky and horrible which lets it down. The sound coming from the 4 pot is so good. But would rather have a second hand 695 biposto record for that amount of money.
Quality definitely lets it down. I’d probably do the same as you, have a record edition with the roll cage, carbon everywhere etc

It's a very silly-looking car.
I got a 595 comp after I sold my Z4, sold it after 6 months hated everything about it, abarth keep pumping out these ‘revisions’ and special editions and the changes are barely noticeable, they also are very poorly built.
