Not only does open challenges put Nikita & Ariane at the disadvantage right from the start, but now they were facing a team that they had absolutely no prior experience to pull from. O Captain My Captain, a brand new pairing of "Captain Marvel" Carol Danvers & Captain Peggy Carter. Their solo runs haven't been going great but in a tag team everything changes, one cannot base a tag team off of the solo runs of the individuals involved. Marvel & Carter had every advantage going for them in this match and Ariane & Nikita sure felt the results of that. The fact the champs somehow walked out with the victory was nothing short of a miracle in this match. Nikita won't lie there were some hairy moments. Carter trying to break Ariane's neck with those repeated submissions had put the red haired cowgirl in serious peril. And Nikita, she don't even remember half of her kickouts, she thinks she'd survived this match purely on instinct. If they meet the captain's again Ariane & Nikita will have an idea of what to expect. But for this first match against a brand, the two walked away with the W, but certainly not unscratched.
