For 3-4 years of my fragrance journey I’ve bought one of the best reviewed fragrances in the community, and a lot of them I’m not really liking. I’ve recently started to choose more “basic” options, the best sellers and such and let me tell You: those are my favorite fragrances now!

Designers > Niche. There’s a reason they sell so much more. Most niche snobs in my opinion like niche brands for the sake of being contrarian
I loved the concept here! You’re giving us another perspective on fragrances that are middle of the road but that contain some marginally unique attribute. Sometimes it’s just nice to have something easy to use. A wardrobe of only 10/10 scents doesn’t serve all situations, even for us fragheads.

I like this direction of videos. I honestly enjoy hearing your opinion on mainstream stuff. Not because I want to buy them or they interest me, but because it gives me a good feel on your taste. Let's face it, most of what's mainstream we've already smelled and know well enough so it gives us ideas on how to tie your words to specific scents and profiles (if that makes sense). Not that we don't understand your choice of words of course because you are really talented in that regard, but it gives us a better feel. And hey, I would love to learn how to use languages seamlessly like you do. Keep up the good work bro!

Colonia Club, without the punctuation, is very nice, definitely less basic. As someone who likes Code, maybe I'd like the newer one.
Not so much basic bro, but my simplest but great fragrance is Acqua di Parma Colonia Pura. No other in my collection hits the same level of clean authentic citrus and freshness. Depending on the situation it's either calming and comforting or gives me that confident ready to go vibe. For me it has really good performance for an eau de cologne. The longevity on clothes is excellent and retains more of the opening.
The funny thing is, colonia pura reminds me quite strong to all floral Chanel Les Exclusifs like Paris Riviera/Deauville. 😊

I enjoyed C.L.U.B was at Epcot of all places in Orlando and saw ADP store went in and fell in love w this. i love fresh clean fragrances
My favorite basic bro scent is Coach Green. A soapy, Sauvage/Luna Rossa Carbon type scent but with a green fruity tinge. Less obnoxious than Sauvage and so mass appealing. Price is great on discounters as well and I’ve found that even enthusiasts enjoy it.
Bought the ADP Colonia C.L.U.B. and agree it’s a basic bro fragrance. I don’t regret buying it but generally wear it for my basic occasions (out the shower chillin at home, gym, golf course, errand running, etc). Also have ADP Oud and Colonia Pura, with Oud my favorite from the house. Tks for the video and I might give Rain Essence a try.

Hey Jeffrey. Seraphim Blue is beautiful--easy to wear but a little different. Sample first. Lafayette St. was uninteresting to me so I sold it. I don't remember what Imagination smells like!
Great content as always. My basic bro fragrance gets a lot of hate, which is Dolce and gabbana K edt. It just works for me.
K edt is actually quite nice imo…😅

Rochas L'Homme smells very good, exceptional considering its current price.
It reminds me of Dylan Blue, but without the Incense note.

Hey Justin just wanted to say Ive been getting non-stop compliments while wearing the YSL Y EDP Intense. I really dont even care if I get compliments but man I even had a girl walk up behind me at the post office and start rubbing my back while telling me how good I smelled. Ive only been wearing it for 3 days but in total ive received right around 20 compliments man no joke. Just thought Id mention it so you could try it out if you havent already. Thanks for the content.

@@stayfreshproductions Man I feel like I go noseblind to this stuff as I can barely smell it after 5 minutes but in the air this stuff must leave a nice lavender sillage or something because Ive never received this many compliments this quick from any fragrance Ive ever worn. Ever. Im not blown away by this fragrance as to me personally it seems a little on the confusing side but like I say theres something about it people like and you should go on a 3 day wearing of it and see for yourself.
In reality no fragrance is basic in contrast to those that take baths in the water that they can find. We are all so blessed to have these options. Stay blessed all

Commandante is underrated. Going in the direction of something like a niche One Million but in a Xerjoff way.
along these lines is Bentley Momentum Intense. Simple but beautiful fragrance for a cheap price.
You know im a supporter of yours but i dont know how Rain Essence falls under the category of basic. But since its part of the video, i hope subscribers will still fall in love with it then they can also judge if its basic or simple :)
Singulier is really nice, Boucheron is a very underknown brand in North-America. I like to think of it as an even more "French" Bleu de Chanel, haha. I actually like the scent profile for Ocean parfum but it's just as you said the name just doesn't make sense anymore.

A lot of participants on Fragrantica express a strong dislike of Colonia C.L.U.B. I've smelled it several times and like it. I probably would have purchased it except for the fact that I have a large bottle of Colonia Club that does not need replacing. Maybe in the future.

My favorite Boucheron continues to be the pour Homme edp, Jaipur the original was great but too strong (think of Dreamer minus the sweetness on steroid overdose). I smelled luna Rossa P and it is nice, but just that. Bulgari Rain Essence worth checking. Mr. Burbery edt, edp and indigo are all nice and functional. Unfamiliar with Comondante. Habit Rouge is great but I didnt smell L'Instinct. Look Geurlain has been known to produce head scratchers remember L'Intstant pour homme that came 2 decades ago? Smells like nothing... It was the first pour Homme that I smelled from the house and it was enough to keep away from their men's perfumes for a very long time!! It was Ambre Eternel that broke the spell. Rochas has some nice inexpensive scents. Not familiar with Colonia Club, but in general A.D.P has great scents so almost all of what I smelled wouldn't be in this category I guess.

Eh…a brand can price a fragrance as high as they want to…doesn’t mean it can’t be basic! It’s not a bad thing. It just is what it is. Instead of “how much does it cost?” Or “what brand makes it?”, I now ask, “what does it smell like?”
