Great unboxing. Revell is kinda hit or mis. a lot of times when I get Revell kits the chassis pan is warped.

Agreed, some of their kits are absolute gems. Their 458 Italia and C5r are some prime examples. The 918 Spyder was great too, but had the same body - to - chassis fit problems that plagued their Ford GT LM.

Hey Mitchell, Happy Sunday night.......very cool kit U have there......that kit is such a "YOU" build!!!!! The final should be real nice......it almost has a vintage Lotus look to it.....nice kit buddy!!!!! As far as the ghosting issue on the hood......here's a tip for that problem.......prime the hood in very light mist coats of primer......do a few coats at a time & build them up very lightly & it will cover those up. It's likely that the styrene went through a cool & hot phase when it was being molded, which is why the ghost effect shows up. I had that on a few kits & that trick worked........try it Mitchell & let me now how that works, thanks man!!!!!

Aye, I does indeed look like an Esprit. Especially the later models with the wing.

I'm hoping it turns out great. From what I've heard it is supposed to build up very smooth.

@@insomniahobbies I think that you should have no problem with it.

I've always liked these cars, do you know if there is a road car version model?

I know Heller/Airfix does a street car. I think Fujimi did one too. I'd have to jump on scalemates to verify though.

Nice review. I have this kit myself. I can't say I have ever seen it built up. I really looking forward to watching this build. I'll be watching

Its a rebox of a rebox that has been around since the 80s. I want to say the Gunze Sangyo did the original in the Marlboro livery. I could be wrong though as the tooling for this kit has been around longer than I've been alive.
