Welcome to country is incredibly devisive. It’s completely ridiculous especially when the ones who push it carry on about inclusion etc. We’re all Australians move on with.
Why, afraid of change? Proven that productivity increases with working from home. Mostly due to time and money saved by not commuting. Also proven to increase productivity when working 4 days a week. Research results are easily available online.
If you are doing work that can be done from home efficiently and effectively, then why not allow employees to do so? It's called change and modernisation. Get into 2024. The bonus of saving on travel time, petrol, tolls, parking (or public transport)...is like getting a pay rise. Happy employees are better employees.
I don't think saving on things that are subsidised by tax if you have half a brain count as a payrise. If you get a job that requires you to go to said job. Tough shit bud, You need to go to that job. I certainly would not like to work where i live, Imagine never being able to seperate work from life.
